    Searching for a vineyard attachment

I was wondering if an old fashion sickle bar mower would work for you. You might need to resize the 3 point to fit the small tractor. I had to change the pins on a hay rake so my small tractor could pick up the rake high enough to maneuver around the hay field.

    L3560 and Square Baler

It would depend upon the lay of your land and which baler that you use. Is your field pretty flat? Do you already have a baler? I live in Florida and I have used a MF 1528 HST, 28 engine hp, and a New Holland 273 baler to make several thousand square bales. But the land here is very flat so...

Moving shipping containers & other stuff

I do not think I would try to drag a container with the l2501. Your tractor is less then 1/2 the weight. But if you take the time to jack up the container and put some rollers under it, i.e. pipe, post etc, I believe it could it. At least you could put a winch on the tractor and move it. Work...

    3 Point Broadcast Spreader

Why would you spend $700 on a 3 point spreader? I just googled a lawn broadcast spreader and Lowe's and Amazon had several to pick from for under $150. At least one held 150 pounds. It would not take very long to do 4 acres and then pocket $550. Load the bucket with the bags and stop as needed...

cracked rim - no replacement available

I can not believe the smart axx remarks made about this welding job. The video shows what could happen if the job is not done correctly and you sound off as if it can not happen. You are being just like the fool who will not chain down the load on his truck because he is only going a few miles...

    4 in 1 Bucket

I would buy the standard bucket and look at one of the grapples that bolt onto your bucket. I have had one for 14 years. They do not weigh very much and it saves the payload. And using the loader as a bulldozer is not the best use for the loader I would get either a box blade, first choice, or...

Massey 1010- cracked bell housing from loader attachment

Looking at the pictures and the information you gave I would guess it would be less expensive to replace the machine. It looks like you would need to replace the main seal while you have the tractor split in two. Also you should look at the clutch and throw out bearing. The cracked bell...

Disc harrow question, pull type or 3pt

When I was younger we did about 100 gardens every spring with a IH Cub. After plowing we went back with a 5 ft pull disc to work up the gardens. We had a small 5 x 8 tiltbed trailer with a hand winch on the front to pull the disc up on the trailer for road transportation. You use a...

Spend my money - New 40-50hp Tractor. Kubota vs Massey

I would second the idea to pass on the MF. They were at one time good strong tractors. I bought a new 2005 MF 1528. I traded it in for scrap money. Dealers are gone, parts were way overpriced and the machine was poorly designed and built. Pure junk. I would not buy to much of a machine. This is...

    Hand Controls for a L2501

I purchased a new L2501 HST in August. I took a pretty bad fall onto my knees in September and it is looking like it will take months to get my knees replaced. I was wondering if anyone has any information for a hand control that could be used for the HST pedal. Most of the information I have...
