    Overwhelmed newby/potential buyer

Yeah, a box blade is a very valuable tool. I moved many, many tons of dirt with the old 24hp 2wd Kubota and box blade years ago. No worries mate, a little 4wd tractor, will move the dirt! Might take a little longer, but the smaller rigs can be much handier than the larger ones...

Missing Bolts Holding Loader Frame - B8200HST

Yes, that'll work. Also, if the bolts are checked and tighten as need, this will never be an issue.

Missing Bolts Holding Loader Frame - B8200HST

Threads probably stripped out. If that's the case, you'll need to drill and tap for the next size up bolt. The loader Needs all those bolt!

4wd is a huge plus with FEL! You can put a FEL on the Kubota BX, B, L tractors. Kubota made and aftermarket. If you find a good used tractor without loader, nothing wrong with adding a loader later.

Yeah, your 5-9k budget will limit you to a well used, smaller rig. But if you're patient, you will find one. Our 1984 model L3750 was 12.5K in 2000. It was rough with high hours, but worked good and still does.

Welcome to the site! And congrats for picking the 'right' brand. What size tractor? Something between 30-40 hp is what I'd want. Smaller and larger will work too... I would buy used or new, but would make sure I bought a rig with 4wd and loader already installed. I cleared 3 acres, then...

Will 3 cycl start w/o glow plugs?

All my Kubotas (3cyl & 5cyl) start without using glow plugs, when it's warm out.

    L3200 with Land Pride 1860

Also, you want to run your top link really lose, so the mower can articulate with the contours of the ground. Lot of times I just leave the top link off, raise and lower the front w/3pt and the rear wheel is always on the ground.

    L3200 with Land Pride 1860

I'm pulling a 1860 Land Pride with a L3800, which is close to the same size tractor. Mine is 4wd, but I mow 98% of the time in 2wd. These rigs are lighter than the old rigs, like your old 3000. My rear tires are filled and this helps a bunch with 2wd traction. Fill your rears and add wheel...

    Long story but...

You got a heck of a deal. Congrats! Have gear drive on our L3800 and love it. GST is easy to run, kind of like the Hydro Shuttle on our old 3750. I don't really like HST at all...

    L3200 with Land Pride 1860

Yep, like said, you are running it too low. Width of rear tires has little to do with it. But I don't like it when the mower is wider than the rear tire span, unless mowing an open field. I mow logging roads and around too many trees. I have the AG tires on our L3800 set out wide, about 60".

    Dodge owners

My first truck was a 10 year old 65 Dodge w/225 slant six. I was a teenager and could not kill that thing. Next a 79 Dodge 1/2 ton bought new, it was a POS. Couple of Ford trucks that were Great! A 97 Dodge that was pretty good, but had to rebuild the rear end and trans before it hit 100k. Now...

Kubota L3750DT with FEL Hydraulic problem

Guess I missed your post here, this place is a bit slow at times. Glad ya got it fixed! I have a L3750, 3 pt works fine, but the loader is slow. I was thinking pump? If you don't mind, can I ask how much your pump cost? And where is it located on the tractor? I haven't really looked into it...
