    Front weights

Nice! Looks like it'll help protect the steering links also. I'm going to do a bumper in that area, but don't want extra weight up front. Have a heavy FEL up there anyway.

Is the L3800 good for running a 5 foot bush hog?

The 3800 pulls a 5' rotary with Ease! Will pull a 6' just fine also. I have been very, very impressed with my L3800! Ya did good! :)

    L2000 front axle leak

There should be a fill plug and a over flow plug. Remove both plugs and fill until it runs out the overflow.

    First post, tricky decision.

The 3200 replaced the 2800. The 3800 replaced the 3400. New styling and a few other odds and ends, but basically the same tractors, as far as I know. Good HP difference between the 2800 and 3800 though. I sure do like my L3800!

How much do industrial tires affect speed?

I believe the R-4s are a bit shorter (not positive), which would reduce speed a little. Sounds like you would be fine with R-4s. But I got Ags because I needed the traction! I'm very impressed with the L3800DT by the way. :D

    l3200 or l3800 help

Like I said on the other forum; Get the L3800, I love mine and no jerky 3pt hitch either!. The added HP is noticeable mowing thick heavy stuff. Other than that they are about the same tractor. And here you wont have to deal with folks trying to talk ya into another brand. :D

I only see the HST and Gear Drive options, No GST for the L series. It's very easy to confuse GST with Gear Drive when lookin at specs. Looks like the Gear Drive is right at 2k less on the Kubota web site. This can vary from dealer to dealer. I was pleased with my deal, at my dealer.

Yeah, no backhoe here. Figured I saved between 2-3k goin gear drive. But I didn't want or price HST, so don't really know. No stupid answers here that I see, Eric just missed the backhoe...

GST is the glide shift trans and not the same as gear drive (manual w/clutch). Gear drive would be less $ yet. I paid 16k for my 3800DT gear drive, w/FEL and 5" mower. Like I said, no regrets at all and I prefer gear drive... Good luck!

    L1500 gears grinds

A little grinding is normal, especially if you were in neutral with the clutch out, then press the clutch in and shift into a gear. I also usually throttle down before sifting, which helps.

Welcome! The L4600 is a larger, heavier chassis and takes a larger FEL. The 3200 and 3800 are basically the same, except HP and a few little things. I've had my L3800 over 5 months now and love it. No regrets at all...

Yeah, that price for tubes ain't right! Mine are tubeless and filled.

What can you tell me about this B7100 (Is it a HST model, what's the value?)

Congrats! Just the kind of rig I'm looking for.

    L2000 front axle leak

I've never heard of a stop leak for axles. Don't think that'll work. It's not that big of job and yes, you'll need to get the parts from a Kubota dealer. Good luck.

    L2000 front axle leak

Some of these will leak for years with no problems, just have to add oil. But I'd fix it if mine. You'll have to take it apart to find the prob, there are O rings and seals in there.
