    My new L3301

Congrats! Set you rear wheels out wider to make it more stable. FEL off & on in 5 minutes. Easy. Mine is off most of the time.

    L3200 or L3800?

The L3800 has a 2 stag clutch and of course the added HP is nice when mowing, pulling steep hills, etc. I really like the L3800DT!

Bought a new L4600 HST today

Wheel weights are great for added traction and stability, BUT do nothing to counter the weight of the FEL! You need significant weight on the 3 pt for any real loader work! Congrats on a fine machine!

    Fueling my L3800 sucks !

I'll say it again, with the 'No Spill' can you can fill your rig without a funnel and not spill a drop. Do not lump this can in with all the new environmental friendly cans that are mostly crap.

    Fueling my L3800 sucks !

The top half of the tank is larger than the bottom half. The gauge reads vertical, not volume.

    Fueling my L3800 sucks !

No Spill brand cans. I can put 5 gallons in my L3800 without spilling one drop of fuel. Best cans I've ever used in over 30 years of tractoring!

best bits & worse bits about your orange friend.

L3800DT Positives; super simple, no bells n whistles, very little to go wrong, no electric dash, plenty of power, very easy to operate, always starts easy, never any problems. Can not think of a single negative.
