Thanks for the update on the event. I'm happy to hear it was a success and the weather cooperated too! Nothing better than learning something new in Nature! Life amazes me every day outside here. We are fortunate to live in this part of the Country.
I agree with the deer not caring for the plants at all here, and we have many deer.
Potatoes love fertilizer so don't be afraid to feed them some 10-10-10 when planting and hilling. The harvest will be a good one.
Good job with the garden! Any problems with potato beetles by you?
They are worse than normal here this year. I grow enough for a whole year. I'm winding down now on last year's crop.
I have the same stressful clutter problems here. If it's good, it needs to be kept out of the weather. That results in a tight pack! It's on my to do list before the snow flies again.
It sounds like everyone is happy with what they are using.
My dealer recommended the RTA 1258 with the L2501. I'm amazed
how well it works and could not be happier. Even with my heavy soil
it works like a charm in 2wd.
Give a man a fish and you can feed him one meal. Teach a person to fish and you can feed him a lifetime.
That woman needs to get hungry, and her song would change.
Keep life simple..... it actually works.
DD, it's nice to see that you pay a lot of attention to detail. It's becoming a lost art among the service industry providers today. I just bet you sleep well at night too!
We grow the large one's like you are talking about. Variety is Amish paste tomatoes.
Seeds are available at www.sandhillpreservation. Check out all the heiloom varieties there.
Nice looking logs. I planted 100 ponderosa pines (yellow pine) here prolly 40 years ago.
They didn't do as well as I thought they would. Nice enough trees after all these years, but not nearly as nice as the native white pines do here. Just sayin is all. The domestic varieties always perform...
Excellent prep job. I'm sure those precautions will make a heck of difference in regard to the longevity of the stones. Just stacking them up without the prep could cause problems...way to go!
Nice looking fire pit, but I wonder if those landscape stones will be able to take the heat?
I'm thinking they are going to crumble from the extreme heat. Time will tell.
