Any chance you were tipped with a 12 pack of beer for the kind gesture?

    Disc Harrow or Rototiller?

It's all about being happy. I can spend hours and hours swinging the chain saw. Might seem like work to some folks, but to me it's pleasure to be in the woods making wood. The L2501 also seems happy with a bucket of wood.

    Disc Harrow or Rototiller?

I had the same project here with the field that is heavy clay soil. It worked really well to use the box blade first with the shanks set on the first cutting depth. It removed all the tall grass and scored the surface enough for the tiller to do an excellent job without the tines getting all...

    Buying a UTV

I bought a Ranger 900xp new back in 2014. It has been nothing but pleasure to own and don't know how I ever got by without it. I haul over 20 face cords out of the woods with it every year. I've only lubed and changed oil and filter on it as needed. It is a true work horse.

Thanks for the information NCL. I didn't realize one needed to run the tractor at those rpms. I was assuming a fast idle would get the job done. Not the case at all. Good information for sure.

How many hours can you run on a tank of diesel, and what rpm work's well? Also, if a regen was needed, would that be a problem?

Good job! Love my venison, and it looks like she is a nice adult doe. We live on the red meat here and enjoy every meal.

Senior moment dusty. More and more of them lately. Takes money to make money for sure. Amazing how much money some companies have in large equipment. No wonder they charge what they have to.

Great clean-up like always Rusty. How much did the rental cost to use? Did you figure the cost into the quote to be able to make a decent profit?

    Hunting and game posts

When it comes to hunting, the trophy is in the eyes of the beholder. The effort, the satisfaction, the meat all plays a role in a true trophy! Enjoy your harvest and keep it fun. Today, I had the opportunity to harvest a nice 10 pointer. The only shots I had, and there were two of them were...

    Hunting and game posts

Good luck hunting Ken. You have some nice deer on your property. It's going to be a chilly weekend for sure. The rut isn't over yet, so movement of the bucks on their own should be good enough for a successful hunt. Keep the heater cranked for a long sit!

Looks like you took really good care of that tractor. How many hours are on it?

Thanks for the information pokey. Looks like I'll be making a trip to the dealer for the needed zerk, if the threads are not damaged.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Senior moment today cleaning up the garden. Placed the hand pruner in the convenient slot on the upper front end loader arm under the top zerk. Forgot I placed it there and lifted a bucket full for the compost pile. Halfway there I discovered the mistake. The zerk is mostly gone and will need to...

Frustration with waiting on new Kubota order

If I were you, I'd patiently wait for your order. Why are you second quessing your original decision? Your dealer sounds like an honest one. Patience is what I would have in your situation.

    L3901 Tire swap

One could buy the new rims and R1's and sell the new R14's and rims to recover the cost of the ones you want.

    L3901 Tire swap

Love the R1's on my L2501. They really perform the best when traction is needed. I also like the more clearance room for a set of heavy rear tire chains in the Winter. They can be hard on lawns for sure, but my tractor was purchased for hard work in the fields, in the woods and on my 1,000ft...

Traded my L2501 HST for a Kioti DK4210SE

Booooooo ....wait till you need service and parts. Now you can join the Kioti forum (do they even have one?) and stop bashing the few extra bucks we pay for quality.
