Yep, I was offered to be added to the list when I applied. I think folks really do enjoy the program and don't want to give up their spot! It's a great way for the DNR to have eyes on the ground literally everywhere in the State.
I really don't think the fluids need changing. The OP was hesitant to allow the tractor to idle and warm up properly. Doing that will cure the problem that was caused.
The operator's manual for the L2501 on page 41 specifically states that warming up the engine in temps below -20C (-4F) requires 30 minutes .... allowing the L2501 to run is a must and not harmful.
Nice find for sure! It's a shame the meat was wasted, but it is what it is, and this stuff happens. I'd save the scull and horns for sure ... why not? Prolly a 3 year old for sure.
Nope, Mel's supermarket is long gone Ken. They had a tragic fire and it burned to the ground. He (Mel) went to lunch at a nearby restaurant and the smoker failed somehow making the place a total loss. The animal mounts down every isle were quite the seen while shopping.

Great job on your property Ken! If everyone put in the effort you do for habitat improvement, the endangered domestic wild plants would have a better chance for survival for sure!
Time to harvest another whitetail and replenish the brat supply.
I remember the good days when I had Mel's...
Congrats on the new property! Loan sounds a slam dunk too. they should of said ok right away with your assets.
It would be fun to have a pond out the back door...enjoy it.
How far away is new place from where you are at the present time?
In relation to your previous post, I assume you don't do a fall tilling to till things under and prevent the possible crop vermin and their ability to establish themselves?
Prolly a good idea. I'm thinking of the same thing for some crops. Lack of rain in the first 8 weeks of growing season can be and was the problem here.
Good for you Ken! I had the same experience at the feed mill Friday with the nice young man filling my order. I told the owner when I paid my bill that he was lucky to have such a nice young man working for him. He said, yep I'am lucky to have him and he never looks at his phone! There is hope!
Great decision for staying away from JD. Their products and quality don't even come close to Kubota's quality and value. I've experienced it hands on with my dealings with all our churches JD products. Our church has 3 JD machines bought new. Problems are common with the hydraulics including the...
