    Storing Implements/Attachments?

I'd get some pallet forks for your bucket and build a rack to hold your mower decks. Use the forks to lift and stack the mower decks on the rack above each other.

    Clutch Squeal

As the clutch plate wears and gets thinner the pressure plate fingers extend closer to the throw out bearing eliminating the free play that is needed. Once they contact the throw out bearing the bearing will be turning at all times and if it's making noise it's lacking in lube or worn out from...

Does the clutch disengage the transmission?

    Clutch Squeal

I would think you'd be ok. I'd pay attention to the noise and if it gets worse you might reconsider. If the pilot bearing or throw out bearing fails completely you won't be able to disengage the clutch.

    Clutch Squeal

    That would be correct.

    Clutch Squeal

With the clutch depressed the two bearings under load are the throw out bearing and the pilot shaft bearing. With the clutch released there is no load on these bearings. It sounds like your issue is with one of these bearings.

New family member! What did I miss?

If you're handy with a welder you can make something with more protection coverage then those you can purchase. This is the grill guard I fabricated...........

    Thanks guys

I agree with Dan. Older diesels can be a bear to start in cold weather without a block heater. I have a JD 655 from 87' that's tough to start at 20 degrees even with new JD glow plugs. I had to break down any buy a block heater for it.

    Procurement of a Tractor

I'd pony up the extra 2 grand for a tractor that's in stock. There's no telling how long you'll have to wait for a tractor that's "on order".

Need to bleed hydraulic lines for new attachment?

I had no issues with my Wicked 55 when it arrived. Basically it was plug + play. Is there an in line fuse on your 3rd function switch?

    Looking at a M4050 - Thoughts

If that dealer is using starting fluid to start diesel tractors, I'd look for another dealer.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Is your snow blade a rigid mount to the SSQA plate? I'm curious because I've been told that the blade needs to be able to pivot and float on it's own, independent of the SSQA plate, similar to the way a plow mount is on a pickup. The way to obtain this float is to have have pins on the SSQA...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thanks for the info. I'm curious because I'm new to owning an EA Wicked 55 grapple and after it's last use have it stored in the open position, face down, cylinders retracted, on a pallet just as it was shipped. Why would storing the grapple open with the cylinders retracted create more...

What brand grapple do you have? When it's in the open position are the cylinders extended or retracted?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The long wait on my EA Wicked 55 finally came to an end on Wed. 4 months to the week since ordering it. All I had time to do was unload it from the delivery truck and put it up for the night. I was too busy at work to do anything with it on Thurs and it rained cats + dogs on Fri. With the...
