Re-boring and tapping bolt holes for mid PTO assembly?

When in a tight spot and the helicoil doesn't insert all the way you can snip off the exposed threads and start your bolt.

    B7100 transmission shim question

It looks to me like it matches the upper bearing race and would most likely go in the bore that lines up with that bearing to adjust shaft end play.

L3901 Throwing Codes/Broken Battery Post Clamp

My understanding is there is a way to clear the codes from the display using the regen switch on the dash but only the dealer can clear codes from the ECM.

L3901 Throwing Codes/Broken Battery Post Clamp

Any inconsistency with voltage or bad grounds can wreck havoc on electronic controls and set multiple codes.

    L 3301 Clutch won't disengage.

I can understand your frustration! Money up front seems a little mind boggling to me since they'll have the tractor for collateral. For $4200 bucks "to see whats wrong" I'd be rigging up to split that tractor myself.

    Introduction

Welcome to the forum. I bought an L2501 back in May but didn't take delivery until late July do to the lack of loaders on hand. I wasn't aware armrests were available for the L2501. Do you have a part number for them?

Anyone have tips on removing a loaded rear R1 on a Grand L?

If a concrete floor is available I'd fabricate a tire dolly that could be used with a floor jack to lower or raise the tire into position.

    Newbie really needs help - - 1988 L2850DT

In 2wd both rear wheels are driven equally until one wheel has less traction. That's when the differential pinion gears allow the power to be transferred to just one wheel: The wheel with less traction. The differential lock "locks" the pinion gears and prevents them from allowing just one wheel...

Upgrading ? LX or L series

I may have been mistaken about an R4 tire being 4 ply but from what I can find the R14 is a 6 ply tire https://www.prioritytire.com/goodyear-r14t-15-19-5-129a8-6-ply-as-a-s-all-season-tire/ https://www.moderntiredealer.com/articles/20065-goodyear-r14-farm-tire-is-the-answer-for-kubota

Got the L02 series rubber mats on the L3301 today

All you have to do is cut a small U shape notch in the area of the sight glass and you're good to go.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finished up my L2501 HYD filter + hose manifold skid plate and got it installed on the tractor.

L2501 hyd filter + hose Skid Plate

Once the brush guard was completed: https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/l2501-hd-grill-brush-guard-for-the-la526-loader.59092/ it was time to move on to fabricating a skid plate to protect the hydraulic filter and hose manifold. I've seen the aftermarket offerings but needed...

L2501 oil change at 200 or 400 hours?

Next time you get a chance cut that Mobil 1 filter open and see how it's made. I cut open a dozen name brand filters to see just how well they were made. Mobil 1 was the cheapest of the bunch having a piece of string tied around the center of the filter element to keep it from ballooning out...

The PRICE of super UDT2 - are you kidding?

$6.25/Qt for full synthetic SUDT2 doesn't seem over priced to me. I sell full synthetic ATF for $6.95/Qt and that's reasonable compared to what they get at the local auto parts stores.

1.33 acres, heavily wooded and overgrown... Need advice on a tractor purchase!

Give Marshall Machinery in NE PA a shot. They have several outlets. I purchased my L2501 from them back in May and had to wait 2 months for the loader but when I was at the dealership on Thursday they seem to have replenished their stock. I saw several L + B tractors with loaders.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I finally had a slow spell at work which gave me a little free time to add the Standard Features that should have been "standard" on the Standard L2501......... First up: The L3302 floor mats. Next: The right side handle. Following the RS handle: Bucket level gauge And finally the bolt on...

    Hydraulic Guard

Nice guard! I'm in the thought process of making one for my L2501. I don't have a back hoe sub frame to attach it to but that shouldn't slow me down.
