If the shaft moves in the case the pinion bearings are shot. If that's the case (no pun intended) you'll need to overhaul the differential. Have you checked the front diff lube level to see if it is low?

With the shaft being that far off center I'd have to wonder if the bearing failed.

My L2501 HST climbs a pretty steep hill on the main road in H with loaded tires, a 400# ballast box, and a bucket full of 2A modified without any problem. I do have to ease up on the pedal a bit to keep the rpms at about 2000. I've been extreamly impressed compared to my JD 655 on the same hill.

You don't have a low pressure zone. You have an air flow problem. The air doesn't flow through the radiator due to the plow blocking the flow. An electric fan + shroud designed for a radiator will move air through the radiator before the temperature gets so high it engages the fan clutch.

Every consider an electric fan set up?
