    L3800HST Stump Grinder?

There are "vertical" stump grinders that seem like they would remove more of the stump and deeper. See this link for an example. http://www.fecon.com/products/view/?productid=42 I saw somewhere on the net one that looked heavy duty and would cut out a very large stump. Sort of looked like a...

    tractor on fire

Wildfire - just be sure to post your most excellent videos of the pumper truck restoration! I assume it will end up orange and somehow be able to be towed by the tractor so it is handy at all times! I can't wait! (just so you all are sure - this reply is entirely a joke!)

    Rops

That price probably includes shipping and installation. The ROPs is around $150. See this for price: http://www.kubota.com/safety/RolloverProtectiveStructures.aspx I got one last year when I got my L185. The installation would have been basically free but I have no way to get my tractor to...

Need to Replace the Adjustable Side Link

Phaser, On mine I hung it up by one end and, using the holes in the sides, filled the lower end with PB blaster and let it set for a couple days. Then got that end loose and moved to the other end. That way there is some fluid available to move down the treads.

Need to Replace the Adjustable Side Link

On my L185: I bought an aftermarket and it did not really fit on the upper pin. It was a bit too wide to fit between the shoulder and the pin hole. I just used a slightly smaller clevis pin but you could grind it down. It was also very stiff and the lower link was just not bent exactly right...

    Long running script

Well look at you being resourceful and junk! I didn't even try to look it up but that seemed to work. Thanks - I'll try to turn on the brain next time.

    Did I fry my starter?

There are few safety switches on the L175. The only one I am aware of is the clutch pedal switch. You may want to verify that it is being properly operated when you push the clutch down. I assume you did have the clutch pressed down FULLY when trying to crank it. To make it a bit easier to...

    Making a Howard HR12 work on a Kutoba L175

For ground that has never been tilled that seems about right. You may have to go over it several times to get to the depth you need. Be patient and go slow. You can add weight to the tiller to try to get it to go deeper but then you start to stress the tiller and the tines. There are...

I get that when making an edit to a post. The edit takes but the site it locked up. That is the only time I see the problem. No idea how to fix it other than start the site again. I use Internet Explorer.

    b9200 turf tires

See this thread where more aggressive tires were put onto Turf rims. http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12745 I think they reference where to get the tires and you may be able to do something similar.

is my PTO an over-running type?

I have a L185 of the same series of tractors and yes the PTO is over running in the tractor. Like others have said test it out- Put a brush hog on. Start tractor Get tractor pointed toward an open area in case it wants to keep going. Put PTO it gear Put tractor in low speed and low gear Let...

    L245 transmission problems

Can't help you with the first part, can only wish you luck on that. The PTO shaft should not turn if it is in neutral. I think that some tractor's PTO will turn slowly due to some drag in the gears but if you put an implement on that usually stops it completely.

    Possible front engine seal leaking

Sorry you never got any reply to your original post - perhaps you have a rare Kubota model? The only suggestion I can make to narrow it down is to get some dye to put in the oil that is a UV light fluorescent. I know they have it for gas engines and assume it is OK for diesel but you need to...
