    Gaining traction

Beware of not checking your bolt tightness. I did 2" spacers on a Grand L and somehow several came loose. One stripped the iron flange threads...had to heli-coil it. Use blue thread locker as well.

    New LX 3310

I find it hard to believe the LX3310 doesn't use glow plugs? I've never heard of a Kubota tractor that doesn't, except the M8 which doesn't have a Kubota engine. And even so, the intake heater design should be equally effective - all the Cummins diesel pickups use an intake heater and no glow...

How to move HST when tractor dies?

On an HST, do the same thing, put the transmission in neutral! If you have the typical 3-range Kubota HST, neutral is the position between ranges (L-n-M-n-H)

M7060 - 3-Point Hitch control lever at the rear of tractor.

John Deere 4066R is a compact tractor with both external hitch controls and the ability to creep forward or backward: https://www.deere.com/en/tractors/compact-tractors/4-series-compact-tractors/4066r/

    Gaining traction

Putting on a set of spacers on a B2601 is a piece of cake, even if the rears are loaded. The whole job takes less than an hour.

    PTO Soft Start

Well, as the OP stated, he has run his 15' mower since 2006 without issue. Clearly the design is reliable and works fine. He is just running too large an implement for this particular tractor.

Grand L 4060 HSTC initial review

I don't have a tape measure at the moment, but here is a shot of my MX6000 with 2" spacers and the R4 rims set to their widest, just to give you an idea of the width. Adding 8 more inches of width on top of that would be crazy. Maybe the MX is slightly wider than the L60 series, not sure. What...

Grand L 4060 HSTC initial review

My deckover is the max legal limit of 102” wide, same as an 18 wheeler. Six in on each side would fit but with zero room to spare. I wouldn’t recommend that much spacer…lots of stress on the rear axle. 3” max per side would be my recommendation

    Zero Turn Mowers

The problem is, if you're a commercial guy and the fall comes with less daylight, you still have the same number of lawns to get done. I've finished under lights before. It's generally fine if you are familiar with the lawn. But valid point on how much faster the zero turn mowers are.

    Zero Turn Mowers

I don't see any on this particular model:

    Zero Turn Mowers

I just checked out the Toro Titan MyRide. Looks like a nice mower, and Toro is the parent company of Exmark, which makes top quality full commercial equipment. This mower has a Chinese-made engine and non-commercial transmissions. However, for doing your 2 acres it will likely last a lifetime...

    Fuel gauge

The point is that something is failing. When brand new, the fuel gauge works perfectly. Sure, it might inaccurately briefly while on a slope or something like that - even a car will doe that. But then, after some hours and age on the machine, the gauge starts reading "full" when clearly it isn't...

    Zero Turn Mowers

Some of the Bad Boy mowers look interesting, but I have never seen anyone mowing commercially use one. Seems like the dealer network is "Tractor Supply" which doesn't work for most commercial outfits. I know there are some stand-alone dealers, but none around here.

    Fuel gauge

That's not the same as what is happening to these Grand L 60 tractors.

    Zero Turn Mowers

True, but a Kawasaki lawn mower engine is the same whether on a Kubota, Exmark, Ferris, Scag, etc. Parts on an automobile may be made by a third party, but they are often made to a spec or variant determined by the automobile manufacturer. For example, AAM supplies axles to GM and RAM, but the...

    Zero Turn Mowers

The thing with the engine is that it isn't Kubota's fault, unless the unique right-biased mounting of the engine caused the problem. I have another mower that is 9 seasons old with the same engine and more than double the hours, runs like a champ. The deck spindle shouldn't have failed, but it...

    Zero Turn Mowers

Update on my Z421 54" mower. After writing a pretty flowery review before, the 2022 mowing season was not as kind to me. My mower is 3 seasons old and has 350+ hours on it. One junk rear tire (not the mowers fault), 2 of 4 motor mounting bolts fell out, a deck spindle bearing failed, and most...

    Fuel gauge

The problem is almost certainly the crossover between the two tanks. Only one tank has a sending unit and if more fuel ends up on that side, it reads full until the engine finally starts burning that fuel off. As for the comment Tinman made about this being "analog" and the old 40-series being...

    MX5400 or MX6000?

Bro-Tek spacers, made by small shop in Canada and good quality but there are others. Are your rear tires filled? Operating on slopes without the loader makes the tractor more stable. I am very experienced with slopes that most people probably wouldn’t be comfortable with. The cab doesn’t change...

    MX5400 or MX6000?

Yes, good idea. The MX cab is similar to the Grand L cab but more heat (and noise) comes up through the floor and fender areas on the MX then the Grand L. I might do the Dynomat reflective myself. Another area is remove the plastic cab roof completely and do the inside, and also the plastic A/C...
