Each blade has 2 beveled washers. You are supposed to have both of them dished towards the spindle. They sometimes lose their tension. If you replace them it should fix the problem. Be sure to torque them.

The fuel solenoid only has power when you shut it off. It is on a timer that energizes the solenoid when you shut it off. If it runs when you take it out, it sounds like your solenoid is stuck in the off position.

The BX tractors are good tractors, with a little bit of maintenance you should see a lot of hours out of this tractor. There are a couple little problem areas that were mentioned but once they are taken care of, you should be just fine.

The filter on the right side is a hydraulic suction filter. It filters all the fluid in the tractor. The filter on the left side is the HST filter. After the fluid goes through the suction filter, the fluid going to the HST goes through this filter.

First you may want to check for debris in the filters or suction screen if it has one. I wouldnt just assume it is the hydro. Does it happen in every gear range? did you try 4WD?
