    Portable gas cans

I don't know about you guys but I got blindsided about the change to "no spill" gas cans that happened back in '99?. Like most other people I had several of the older (and loved) cans for a bunch of years and never needed any more. Heck, I gave some away because of having too many not being...

    2 cycle oil

I agree with Bluegill and others that say use the correct oil for the application. But hey, it's your equipment, use what you want. Discussions like this is the reason I won't lend any of my power equipment to anyone, family included. Wrong mix, wrong oil or straight gassed.... no thanks.

    Repellent

Yes we have, it's darn good stuff and some of our friends swear by it. We use it mostly to repel ticks in our neck of the woods. You can only use it on your clothes though, not skin. It does last a couple washings. We spray our pant legs before hiking/hunting.

I have a question about the big "K"

"This is a great question and likely only to be answered by the big K. Only way to find out is to give them permission to call or e-mail those who have suggested changes, made them, or ran into issues that are unsolved and do require further information via follow up." Their probably afraid...

    Kubota Oil?

Maybe he was talking about the hydraulic fluid for the transmission? UDT and Super UDT seem to work the best. I've read about people trying to substitute diferent oils in it's place, but not getting the same or satisfactory performance from it. Kubota's seem to be sensitive to that particular...

BX Snowblower Auger Shear Bolt Repair

The shear bolts are in the same position on both sides. Line up the good one so it's at a slight angle facing you and the broken one is in that same position. Now you will have some side play in the auger so you will probably have to slide it back and forth a little for correct alignment. I get...

    Information for ALL gun owners.

Nonsense, semi auto firearms for sportsman have been around since the early 1900's. Violent video games and movies just hit the scene in the late 90' early 2000's. In the amount of time in existence, which one has caused the most problems in the shortest amount of time.....

You leak is most likely the gasket on the fuel gauge sending unit on the left top of tank.. I have the same problem with my BX2230 if I fill the the tank to the top. You can easily find out by just filling to 3/4 and see if it stops. It's a PITA to get at so I just fill to 3/4 or a little...

    Generators

I bit the bullet last fall and had a 20kw Generac automatic whole house installed. It runs on NG so no issue with fuel. The thing I liked is that whether we're home or on vacation, it's always ready to go.

    Going Overboard

That's the way the world is going. It's not one company making all kinds of different products, it's one company with different products produced by individual factories. Take GM for example. In the glory years they had what....6 different car/truck divisions along w/Fisher body. Delco...

    B2781A blower lubrication

I don't think he'll find much dust to deal with blowing snow. I've been using chain lube on my various blowers for over 16 years and it works for me. It was just a suggestion, everyone's free to do their own thing.

    Mower Deck will not raise...

You have two knobs in front of the seat. The right one, a valve (facing forward) controls the speed of the deck/3 pt. Open that up about a turn and see if that helps. The second knob on the left controls the cut height. You'll see numbers on it. Make sure it's on a number 2, 2.5, etc. and not on TOP
