I released mine this time. I used a crow bar for leverage on a tab and a 2x2 aginst the idler pulley and belt came off left hand spindle pulley no problem.
Can you understane what I'm trying to say?
Transmissions are not the place to put cheap fluid. Stick w/Kubota and don't worry about it. For the amount of make up fluid you need, it's not worth trying to save a buck.
Don't know what your dealer is asking for them, but here a Wix costs more than Kubota. Theres always Fram, but it seems like there not thought of very well. Check with NAPA, price may be better.
I don't see why not. I have a '04 BX2230 with the same set up with a BX2750 snow blower. I've seen what your talking about w/rubber boot but that just seems like a design change. You'll also need the quick hitch and mid PTO kit for the blower. Your best bet is to check w/Kubota dealer for...
I removed the cover from the front axel FWD U-joint on my BX 2230 expecting to find a grease zerk . Hmmm, nada! Are these sealed for life and require no maintainence ever? There are grease zerks on everything else, why not here?.
