    BX throttle

Tighten the nut on bottom of throttle shaft a little. You have two cup washers there that provide some pre load. Just tighten a little at a time till you get it the way you want. Just don't over tighten.

    Ice-off

Had mine out today...73deg....yes. Nothing like 2 wheels and a sunny day. It was tough to start..???? maybe it's not ready to wake up yet. But once it caught, it roared to life and said.. lets do it! Had a nice couple hours cruising. We had about 24 hr of rain earlier in the week and the...

    Ice-off

I was itching to get mine out today, but there a lot of E-W road areas in the shade that are sloppy slushy. I'd hate to run up one those and not see it in time. Should be good to go by end of week though.

    Pulling well pump

You definitely need a tripod that's stable and high enough to do this. Your talking a lot of weight there. An old truck w/one and an electric winch would work. Chain-fall are good but as slow as they are, you'd be two days pulling. First all, your gonna have to buy/make a clamp to hold the pipe...

    Oil change

I change mine every fall, and I only put about 70 hr a year on it mowing and snow blowing. I do my Chevy PU every 3500 mi also. Oil is cheap when compared to an overhaul. But then again, everyone has their own tried and true method that gives 'em that feeling of security.

    flex seal on radiator

Short answer is no. Pull the radiator and have a radiator shop fix it right.

    Refurbish Kubota L245DT

If it moves it's not as bad as you think. Even a very small screwdriver may work. Just try to locate a spot on the edge that you can get some leverage on and just keep working it around. Without actually seeing it, that's what I would try if it were mine.

    Refurbish Kubota L245DT

Number 1, there is no torque without the bolt head unless you've bottomed out the bolt. If the threads are clean you may be able to use a small pick and just unscrew it. Put a little wd40 or something similar to help it rotate.

    Kubota 2750 Snow Blower

Could you just swap out the fan to one with a CW rotation? I don't know if the augers can be reversed, never had to try this.

    BX2230 lowering speed knob

It's threaded RH to close LH to open just like a regular bolt. It may have been turned open so far and hard it's stuck. Or it may be stuck in the open position so long without moving. You need to screw it in and out on occasion to keep it free. Some guys have sprayed penetration oil on them to...

Snow Caster Before & After Resoration

Nice job. Other than a different mounting arraignment, the rest looks identical to the Case/Ingersoll unit.

    4WD not engaging?

What we always did w/car clutches, is resurface the flywheel and install a new pressure plate. If this is the first time service on the clutch you may want to give that some serious thought.
