    Reel mower

My only experience with the reel mowers is actually an experience with my cousin, it lopped 2 fingers off very cleanly. such a clean cut as they were able to be reattached and one even functions! No joke this time.

    Finishing Mower Broken

Remember, some brands have a shear pin/bolt on the prop shaft where it connects to a gearbox or what ever design it has to transmit power to the deck itself. If it is a shear bolt, most were just a grade 2 bolt as they are fairly soft. so, check your drive shaft at the mower deck. Very common thing.

    BX25 Backhoe Hydraulic Leak

I would think that would be of no worry. a few cycles of the boom should take care of anything that would have accumulated from that. Although, i'm pretty much stupid in the area of hyd's.

    Any Beekeepers here?

I've had the notion for several years that I would like to keep a hive. I dont really want more than that, its just for myself. also it would be called the term they're using now as urban beekeeping. I live in a small town of 2K at most. I guess i'm wondering if its worth the trouble to...

    BX25 Backhoe Hydraulic Leak

Yes i think you might have a loose nut there. be careful when tightening that you dont begin to twist the line by over-tightening it. Any grease is better than no grease. if it was me, I would use a heavier body red grease. This like the "what kind of oil should I use?" questions will garner...

    rust in cylinders

<<<I also COMPLETELY agree that you should be rebuilding it with that many hours on it. Good luck, Steve>>> Steve and the others are correct, a complete rebuild is in order, putting it back together now is just inviting another tear-down quickly. do it right this time and put another 10,000...

    B6000, need parts

OK, first lets address the first item. the universal? do you mean the yoke that slides into your PTO shaft from an implement? Next, do you have your steering box disassembled? you needing bearings and races for it? If so, these are avail new still. Sorry to be thick headed!

BX2200 Rear wheels will not move

Sounds to me like a rear diff failure. most likely the front pulling it along. At the moment I cant see another reason.

    L 225 dt hood, fenders

I know it would be period correct or anything but, it would be neat looking (at least to me) if you could fit some late model tins (polycarbonate body parts) on it. I'm sure you could come up with something but would take a lot of measuring. Ya know sometimes I really have some weird ideas.

Help for hydraulic pump / diesel + hydraulic in oil

Doesn't that engine have a small primary fuel pump "before" the secondary injector pump? Most do. I don't know if it was electric or mechanical. if mechanical that would explain how the additional oil volume was happening, punctured diaphragm. Check it out, theres a decent probability I'm...

    rust in cylinders

Hey Stumpy, The kit for that 50hp engine is pretty close to the cost of the kit/parts for these little 18-25hp engines we are usually talking about isn't it?
