Tooth Bar Review (BXPanded - Piranha)

I ordered mine last Monday and received it today. I believe it had to be custom made to fit my 48" bucket. I won't be able to install it until the weekend, but it looks impressive and of very good quality. The wife texts me and says there is a very large package on the porch and I can't move...

B7100 HST Fluid in front Axle

.70 for the center differential and .15 per each outside is correct (equals 1 quart total for complete change). That is what my manual calls for and that is what I drained out when I did mine a few months back. I can't comment on what might happen by overfilling them. I know I am used to...

    ROPS for B7100

I want to add a ROPS to my 1977, B7100. I am not finding a part number anywhere for something like this. Does it exist, or do I just call a Kubota dealer and inquire? I know WI offers a rebate program for this as well. Does Kubota offer a couple different styles for my tractor? I think I need...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Well, I did nothing to my tractor, since my B7100 is 100 miles away. But, I did order me a Piranha tooth bar for the bucket today and a Pat's quick hitch set up.

    Hydraulically driven brushcutter (Hydracutter)

Thanks everyone. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking some easy way to use this. It is a 4' cutter. I plan on getting a 4' cutter for my B7100 to replace it. I might be able to go larger, but I get into some pretty nasty stuff. I have had no luck finding used cutters for a decent...

    Hydraulically driven brushcutter (Hydracutter)

I thought I would toss this out there, before I sell this thing. I have a Case 444, which is a hydraulically driven 2wd garden tractor. There is a pump off the back of the engine that powers the back axle and a rear, hydraulic PTO to drive rear attachments, such as a rototiller, log splitter or...

B7100, 3 point hitch slowly drops over time

What is considered "acceptable" for the hitch to drop over time while running?

B7100, 3 point hitch slowly drops over time

I didn't time how long it took for the 3 pt to drop over time, while running, I just know that it does and that is without a load. It takes about 25 minutes after the tractor shuts down, before it reaches bottom, without a load on it. I do have the service manual that I downloaded and printed...

B7100, 3 point hitch slowly drops over time

Thanks Russell! Is this an easy repair? Anyone know the steps involved? I can't seem to find the cylinder components in the parts listing that I have. It pretty much shows the cover, but nothing more. Thanks!!

B7100, 3 point hitch slowly drops over time

I have noticed that the 3 point hitch on my 1977, geared B7100 will slowly fall over time. What are the most common causes for this? I'm assuming I have a seal or o-ring that is going bad. Let me know where I should start looking or if there are any tests to perform to diagnose this. Thank!!

    B7100D Tie Rod Ends

The rod that runs between the front wheels is the tie rod, with replaceable ends, one RH and one LH thread. The rod that comes from the steering box to the front axle is the drag link. I looked at mine closely and thought the same thing as you, until I looked closer. The drag link ends on my...

B7100, addition of a coolant recovery tank

I'm guessing a 2 quart tank is way more than I need, but it's the smallest that the local auto parts store had and it really didn't look that big, when I bought it...lol. Once I tried to find a place for it on the tractor, then I realized it was more than I needed. It just fits in that spot...

My chain drag harrow came today -

To me, a drag harrow is probably the best implement for putting in gardens and food plots. If I could only use one implement, the drag harrow would be it.

B7100, addition of a coolant recovery tank

Since my tractor does not have the factory whistle, I installed a temperature gauge and and just today a coolant recovery tank. It was a pretty easy mod. The hardest part was finding a place to put a 2 quart recovery tank. It is a tight squeeze, but it fits!

turf vs r4 this dead horse needs a beatin

R1's can't be beat in the soft stuff. They don't plug up like turfs do and they have a more aggressive bite than the R4's. I have used both my R1's and my turf tires with chains for snow removal. I believe there is a slight advantage to the turfs with chains over the unchained R1's. But, If I...
