Who was looking for an SKS

Accuracy was not the main design criteria. One must consider the counties that produced the SKS & AK series rifles did so for ease of manufacture (little machining & stamped parts), and for the fighting force they had. Vast production, simpilicty in operation, little instruction required for...

    I’m back

Beau...unfortunate you had to endure such a thing. But sometimes it happens. Several years ago my brother went through a divorce. During that time his buddy inquired, "WE got to keep the car lift, right?":D. Now that's a concerned buddy!

    L2501 6hrs new rattle

This is a shot in the dark, but on the underside there several weep fittings to allow moisture out of various housings. They look a bit like a grease zerk, but have loose pin hanging out. It it possible that pin is rattling? Check everything connected to, or touching, that clutch pedal assembly.

    b7100 pto shield/rops bolts

I would likely try welding on a nut first to see if they could be backed out. Other option if that fails is to drill them out with a reverse-twist bit. They might extract them. Can always retap thread, even go up one size if needed.

    HST Whine.....Gone.......!

I would have no problem using the foam. But an alternative idea might be coating ROPS with a bed liner coating. For me the whine is tolerable, plus I always use hearing protection. An upside to the whine is, in certain situations, it gives an audible indication of how tractor is performing...

    Coffee...is now a healthy addiction

For me it's 3 cups in the morning and 2 after supper. Hot, strong and black. Do limit myself to 1 cigar a day. Dark and strong as well. Both could get out of hand if not for self-imposed moderation.

    L3901 Cab build

Wow...nice work! I dream (almost fantasize) about building one for mine. Are front supports tied to loader frame? Can loader still be removed? What size is that canopy? Is it for the L3901 or another model? The plan for closing area under & behind seat

Good deal! I maintain that every manufacturer that has a product requiring filters, employs a gorilla to install them!

    Looking to buy a trailer...

One issue with a gooseneck trailer is you limit tow vehicle options to ones with a gooseneck hitch. Conventional class 3 hitch is something nearly every truck has. Could be a situation whereby you have to use a different truck, or someone needs to borrow trailer. Also consider torsion spring...

    L3301 50 Hour Service

Kubota installs filters then paints everything. My guess is paint is bonding it. Try cutting around it with razor knife to break that bond.

    L3301

Did you treat or replace fuel after first episode? If not, replacing filters was a temp fix. But sounds like you are on right track. I suspect it went bad in your tank. Hot & humid climate, pethaps partially full tank and maybe sketchy fuel quality...was perfect breeding ground.
