    It's a good thing stupid doesn't hurt.

Had been in new home about 4 years when septic started smelling real bad. I always do yearly service by dropping in chlorine tabs & cleaning aerator pump. Called the folks that installed it asking what could be wrong. They asked when was last time the filter had been cleaned. My response was...

    L3901 with QH15 quick hitch

My most used 3pt implement is brush cutter. With it I adjust top link so as to make the QH perpendicular to the ground. Even with the levers unlocked, they miss tail lights by 1/4". When using box blade with rippers, then I have to shorten top link. Have to be mindful then.

Purchased land pride pallet forks today

For certain the handiest attachment for me. I use them way more than the bucket.

    G3200

Was this the one on St. Louis CL this last weekend? I think $450 was asking price. Never aware there was a G3200, only 4200, 5200 & 6200. I have the G5200. Nice machine....eats grass like nothing you ever seen!

    Cruise Control on L2501

The new shaft & dual levers are installed as unit. Had to play around a bit to get right orientation so as to be able to attach linkage rod at same time. These pics may not show correct position for levers (mind is a bit fuzzy on finite details) but convey general idea. Also the shaft has not...

    Cruise Control on L2501

Forgive the mega sized pics...I have no idea how to resize them. The only reason why fender & wheel should be removed is to allow access to the shaft that range (and soon cruise control) levers pivot on. These first two show factory range shaft & lever. Manual says to remove clip & slide...

    Cruise Control on L2501

Not difficult, and can be done without removing fender or wheel. Simple matter of looking & thinking ahead, orientation of parts and sequencing your moves. Took me about 3.5 hrs on my L3301. That included head scratching time. Think i still have some pics.

    51 hours, no regen L4701

IMO, that reflects quality fuel & proper operating rpm for task involved. My 1yr old L3301 has 43hrs, and still not had a regen cycle.

    lil bota

As Austin Powers would say, "It's not the size, baby..." I am amazed at what my 14hp G5200 will eat for grass.

    New Here G6200 Starting Question

Actual dash removal should not be necessary. Instead remove the perforated metal cover below dash. Taking out battery might give you more working room too.

    New Here G6200 Starting Question

I have a G5200....good mower! I think there is a relay in the dash for glow plugs. I'd check everything in there for corrosion, faulty connections, etc. Shoot some contact cleaner in ignition too. Change hydro fluid & filter as well.

    New to the crowd. G5200

Wait...I just noticed your deck pto points to the rear? That's different from my G5200. Where does your pto power come from?

    New to the crowd. G5200

The manual for the deck has some specific measurements for length of those buckles. Makes deck spot-on level.

    2nd Regen

I have right at 30hrs on my 3301, and no regen yet. Same thinking on the running & rpms. First start I run 10 min to warm up, about 1600rpm just idling, around 2000 for maneuvering and loader work. Shut it off if more than 10 min of inactivity. Have noticed fuel consumption is getting better...

    Adding attachments to G6200

Might look at the JD series of garden tractors of that era. Think they had an add-on 3pt. Could be a good starting point for ideas.

    Adding attachments to G6200

When i got my G5200 about 12 yrs ago, I looked into this. After researching, I abandoned the idea for several reasons. Chief among them was the fact this platform does not have a 2 speed rear end. Any kind of serious blade work would be limiting. Strictly my opinion. I do have the front blade...

Amazon query from USA location please

Have you checked into ordering direct from Chamberlain? Yes, its a higher price at $99 USD, but perhaps shipping would be less. Check Ebay too. A US seller might ship internationally. Also, check independent dealers in the US, Canada & Mexico.
