L2501/3301/3901 Clicking Noise

I had an intermittent thunking sound when moving. Turned to be seat belt bumping against fender.

    Tufftop or Sunshade Round 2

I cracked my head good on bucket while raised to blow out radiator. Talk about memory imprinting! Looks good. Any vibrations? The shape reminds me of a cab roof on old steam locomotive.

    First Car

First car was 1976 Pontiac Gran Prix. Firethorn red w/ red vinyl. Was a nice car. Drove to high school 87-89. Traded off for 85 Z28. Six months later traded for S10. After that a rapid succession of cars & trucks for next 5 or 6 years. Wish i still had them both, but more so the Pontiac...

    L3300 oil stick question

As Jerry Reed would have put it, "Snowman only has the dip and not the stick, son...ha-ha!" There is barely enough to grip, and certainly nothing to bend!. What was Kubota thinking? For ease of use, this is not. I'd wager one from an L3200 would fit a 3301 [/IMG] [/IMG]

    L3300 oil stick question

Not to hijack, but anyone know if a different dipstick be available for an L3301? The little rubber grip on mine is for the birds . Like to have a loop to pull.

    Sold my old tractor

Before Kubota purchase, the plan was to keep the Iseki and add PS & FEL. Even bought a FEL to adapt to it. After adding up cost & time involed, i came to my senses. The time element was the main thing. When the wife suggested buying a tractor ready to work I didn't hesitate! I love that woman!

    New toy!!

Sa-weet! Hopefully they threw in the cooler as part of the deal. Or was it a $40k cooler that they threw a tractor in on!

    Sold my old tractor

Said goodbye to my trusty old Iseki last Sat. Listed on CL and sold in less than 2 weeks. Got my asking price too! Here she is loaded on my rig headed out to new owner. Wish I could have kept her, but no space to store. Plus the cash was needed to offset some of the Kubota purchase. "]

    L3901 and L3301

Loving my L3301. 21 hours now, but yet to regen. Two minor issues so far. First was small coolant leak when starting after been stitting for a week or two. Tweeked lower radiator hose were it enters the block a 1/4 turn. Problem solved. Second was last week. Popped hood before starting to...

Kubota G5200H - Prop shaft stripped

If it's stripped where it slips in coupling on the baxk of the engine, I'd hesitate trying to weld it. There is a rubber damper in there. Keeps engine vibration from being transmitted through the shaft.

    PTO/Clutch 3901

I learned with my old Iseki to disengage clutch and wait several seconds before engaging PTO lever. Employing same habit with my L3301 and have no issues like you describe. Being that the PTO is controlled by a cable, perhaps yours needs some adjustment or repair. Hopefully no damage done...

    L2501 vertical exhaust mod

Agreed....was just wondering out loud. Sage advice I will heed! With only 12hrs or so on my L3301, I have yet to witness a REGEN cycle.

    L2501 vertical exhaust mod

That is a cool mod. My Iseki has a vertical stack, and rarely has the exhaust been a nuisance. Wonder if doing this mod on an L3301 w/ DPF would cause any issues during REGEN. Using larger pipe might be in order.

    G5200 Battery ??

The G5200 manual states an NT60-S4L. I believe now discontinued, at least in NA. Closest I found in size was a group size 51R. It's a bit larger at 9"x5"x8". Had to jury-rig a hold down due to extra width, plus a 1/2" foam pad shim to get it to sit flat (tray lip caused it to tilt). Have...
