    old school farming

The romance wears off, as the size of the field increases, but I do fondly remember the old Allis D-19 Diesel, and a 4 bottom plow, and my GF... https://youtu.be/MdTTLLCwjDg And now for the gratuitous bit of t*t.. https://youtu.be/uWu4aynBK7E :D:D

    Dig a footer.

There is also an old 3 point hitch tree digger, that can be used, but they're rather hard to find, except in christmas tree farming areas. It attaches to the 3 point hitch, and has a U shaped metal blade, on the bottom. I do know that bobcat has a front mounted skidsteer attach version of it...

Can I make Diesel from gas and oil

Got any heating oil in your furnace? Neighbor's trucks? I'd run that before experimenting with unknowns...:D:D

    L2550 Hydraulic Hoses

Google Colliflower, inc, they have 4 locations in VA. They're not the cheapest, but the guys that work there (at least in my experience) know their stuff...:D:D

    Fuel Jelling or Gelling :)

For the record, it was a new filter, that was filled with 911. I had had water, in the old filter, and was too lazy to fill the new filter with diesel, as I had the 911 bottle nearby, I used that. I suspect the engine will run on it, pure, just not well. I know it did no harm, tractor is...

2-3 ft of snow to much for blade

Here's my yooper scooper. Well actually it is close to what I use, mine is just a hydraulic angling 6' snow blade. I also use it for dirt grading, springs are bolted closed. https://youtu.be/P0sxoKV7MFw :D:D

    Fuel Jelling or Gelling :)

Actually, you can put in too much Diesel 911. I tried filling the filter, once, with 911, and the engine in question would start, but would stall if you bumped the throttle, even a tiny amount. Solution was to let it run at idle for about a half an hour. THis might be temp related, incident...

    Car for my kid.

On all GM;s that I have experience with, the main problem I ran into, with them was that after 15 years or so, the wiring harness would chafe along the firewall and cause weird, intermittent electrical problems. A frien who is in the business (auto electric) would grab the harness, push, pull...

2-3 ft of snow to much for blade

Coupla thoughts, after spending 5-1/2 hours in the past couple days, with the ASV RC30 and 6' front hyd angle blade I rigged up for it. THis snow was pretty dry, but as you got down to the last inch over the driveway, it got sticky. We got in the neighborhood of 29", here. I would have rather...

    Jerky Rear Hydros

My guess is that perhaps you have some gasket silicone caught up in the valve bank. when you first crack the valve, full pressure and flow occurs, till the blockage hits the valve, then flow and pressure stops. I'd have the dealer make it good...:eek:

    Let it snow!

Had 2' here, by noon, I guess. Took the ASV RC30 and the 6' front blade, and spent an hour and a half, clearing between the house, garage, barn and avian hacienda. Lull stopped, snow started again, went back to the garage, threw a couple more logs on the wood stove, and a couple shots of...

    Jerky Rear Hydros

OK, I stand corrected, Didn't realize how new the tractor was, from the OP. Here's a tip re the mismatched hoses. Once you have them figured out, take colored wire ties, and mark both halves of multiple fittings, by putting a green tie on one, a red tie, on another, etc. You could also use...

    Jerky Rear Hydros

Check your suction filter screen. Could be a big chunk of crap being sucked up against it, blocking the flow. Could be other things, too, but it's a good place to start, anyway...:D:D

    Let it snow!

Hey Hokie, I'm in the same boat, we gots about 2-1/2" on the ground, at 5:45 PM. I put the blade on the ASV, and moved the home-made snowblower into the barn, for some drive chain work. The chain came off about 5 years ago, when I last used it, and I forgot where I put it. I gots a whole roll...

    Daily Chuckle

    1. After a night of drink, drugs and wild sex, Rick woke up to find himself next to a really ugly woman. That's when he realized he had made it home safely. 2. I got invited to a party and was told to dress to kill. Apparently a turban, beard and a backpack wasn't what they had in mind. 3...
