My tractor is a mid 80s model with a front loader. The hydraulic hoses looked pretty bad, dried rubber, steel grades showing in places. I'm thinking on replacing all of them for dependability. Im sure going to a dealer would be quite pricey, so are there aftermarket places that make hoses?

Absolutely !

Get you hoses off, mark all of them ( both ends and keep a record ) and take them to your local auto parts, if they cannot do it, they will tell you where it can be done.

If that fails - look up hydraulic hoses replacement in your area.

Where are you in Virginia? I am sure someone can make them in a 30 mile radius.

Google Colliflower, inc, they have 4 locations in VA. They're not the cheapest, but the guys that work there (at least in my experience) know their stuff...:D:D

If you are in Hampton Roads B&B hose in Chesapeake. Napa on 460 in Zuni is about the cheapest place I've found. I think most Napas will make hose or point you in the right direction. Remember to drain the old oil out of the hoses, they don't take kindly to you tracking hydraulic fluid across their floor.

I'm in northern Shenandoah valley just off I81. I suppose the fitting are metric? Never replaced a hose that wasn't on a Cat or John Deere. There are Napa stores nearby, I'll do a search locally.
