floor crane or gantry crane for tractor remittance advice

How much for the one in the first pic? I would mount a cheap Chinese electric winch on it. Remembering that you rarely lift really heavy components and that would do most I expect. (Wish I had one!) EDIT: 3rd pic shows a lighter gantry in background

    BX23 new HST blowing filters

Well that's good news of sorts! Hopefully it will be all sorted soon, any chance of the dealer coming good with a couple of filters? 20 years ago I flew out to a mine and was given an airconditioner to fix on a large face shovel they were having trouble with, no aircon means no operator, and of...

    Losing Power

Do these pumps have an air bleed on the side or top of the pump? Some fuel filter housings also have an air bleed screw on top of the housing. After bleeding and if no result, next I'd start with disconnecting fuel line from inlet to filter and run into bucket for a few minutes to ensure you...

    BX23 new HST blowing filters

First thoughts, may not be the case but worth a check anyway. If your engine comes with a "permanent magnet" starter motor, and when you split the tractor you disconnected or changed the battery, you then accidentally hooked the battery up in reverse and you are now cranking the engine over...

Where to get a starter rebuild kit?

Common complaint of starters that click and don't engage the solenoid is worn or sticky brushes, as the pull in coil of the solenoid/plunger uses this path to ground. The click heard is the hold in coil being energized, it does not have enough power to pull the plunger in to make the main...

    hydraulics nothing works

One other thing to check, not sure if the B26 has this, but many others do, ensure the hydraulic control screw is in the correct orientation, check your workshop manual, this is a pic of mine. Also if you have any quick disconnects on the FEL or on the hoses/lines supplying the FEL valve block...

    hydraulics nothing works

While I'm no expert, and am happy for anybody to correct me, it's difficult to diagnose from afar, without pressure gauges, and when you aren't the one doing the testing, alas, I offer the following. Before sending the pump away, it appears the pump has worked on several occasions, so what is...

Which threads where? NPT, BSPT, Metric, Imperial, fine, course etc

Getting away from it is the old spark plug with a 14mm thread x 1.25 pitch (Fine), with a 3/4" reach and a 13/16" drive!

Which threads where? NPT, BSPT, Metric, Imperial, fine, course etc

Just noted a post by NIW who said the oil pressure sender on a B7100 is BSPT, the interesting thing about this is the use of British threads on a Japanese engine in the USA. I'm guessing my hoses would be JIC, but could be SAE 45 degree flare. Metric threads do come in different pitches, but are...

Which threads where? NPT, BSPT, Metric, Imperial, fine, course etc

While that's good for you guys who will one day go metric, it's a pain when you are already metric. I'm guessing the change happens at the hydraulic selector valve, I wonder if French or European tractors are all metric, or do they still have BSPP test fittings?

Which threads where? NPT, BSPT, Metric, Imperial, fine, course etc

I had a search but couldn't find anything so if there is something then please point me in the right (or left) direction! I'm curious, the question is, where and when (and why) are different threads used on these machines. While I have a set of thread pitch gauges in imperial and metric, it...
