I think nearly everything there could be classed as "repair & maintenance", and if getting your equipment in tip top order is your thing, then it's a good thing. Some people don't go as far and all is good, others get away with the bare minimum, and some have equipment that something...

Any oil is better than no oil if it has leaked out! And if it's like mine it leaks quickly, I'm scared at what I'll find as the last guy didn't do maintenance and it was dry :(

13.8~14.1 volts when cold would be better for a cyclic starter battery, as components heat up the voltage will generally fall a bit. The output of dynamos is generally low so until your battery's storage capacity has been replenished from it's previous state you may not see the higher terminal...

Check strainer connections incase it's sucking air, as well as the usual, oil level, all hoses connected etc.

So engine won't CRANK. As 85Hokie mentions, a safety switch such as, PTO, HST/Neutral and clutch are the most likely inhibiting the starter motor control circuit.

Increase in voltage says the dynamo and rectifier/regulator are working to some extent, and could be totally fine. Hopefully with some time the terminal voltage will increase a bit higher as the battery charges.

My Guess! How much oil flow do you have programmed to the auxiliary circuit? Is it running off the main pumps, if so it uses more than half of the total output for the cutter which will reduce output to main boom. From spec sheet - Adjustable Maximum oil flow on Auxiliary Circuit SP1 Double...

So what happened when you lubricated and centered the lever and replaced the Neutral Safety Switch?

Check the oils as normal with engine shut down. Surely you could fit another bucket in!

Good idea, yes needs to be able to rotate back and forwards freely. I guess you have the full parts manual and service manual? Check your inbox if you don't.
