    B21TLB any issues?

Nope, just check it over for signs of abuse and general wear and tear from previous owner.

    Ultimate newbie question

Could be the backhoe is to large for your tractor to have on there. May not be a bad idea to put some weight in the bucket for extra balance.

    Taking the next step

The game plan was to find an affordable solution to getting a tractor in the 25-30hp range with a loader and a box blade to start. It doesnt have to be brand new and flashy. An older L series will suit my needs, like a L247/L275. And from there I need to set up a website online with decent SEO...

    Taking the next step

I guess I should have been more specific when I meantioned my wreckless past. My credit is wrecked and shot to shit, so I have no hope in getting a loan of any sort. I cant even finance a pack of gum. Doubtful any sort of a business plan presented to the bank will make a difference. And I have...

    Taking the next step

No I definitely don't want to go legalized loan shark route. Ive seen those commercials and yeah theyll give you $10,000 overnight but itll cost you about $80,000 in the end if you can get it paid off. I was thinking more along the lines of peers or more specifically you guys help. Thats why I...

    Taking the next step

I'm planning to take the next step with my business and move forward and doing more tractor work, grading and turf installs. I've been running the business again full time for the past two seasons but doing the maintenance side of landscaping. I'm really tired of busting my ass and barely...

    Model year ?

Equipment is not sold by model year rather then a model series. Like the L4600 for example is the prior model to the L4601. The year the tractor was built is irrelevant, because they can sit on a dealers lot until sold. Which could be a year or two.

L5740 HSTC and JD model 390 Flail Mower

You wont have to worry about and over riding clutch with a flail mower like you would a bush hog. Two different types of centrifugal force at work. Meaning there's hardly any coming from a flail mower then a bush hog.

    Death of a Small Business

Hell I had no idea there was a dealer in D.C. Surprised to hear that since Congressmen arent tractor dudes. Kubota probably pulled their licensing agreements because that tractor isnt doing enough sales volume. Head just outside of D.C. to Manassas and Byrd Tractor is booming. I would have...

    snow plow attached to bucket???

Id say take the bucket off and mount directly to the lift arms. Thats alot of weight to be carrying around upfront and I figure something might break easier.

    Speed knob on steering wheel

Loved it on my big rig. I'd be worried using it on non power steering. I've had the wheel spin out of my hand from force and damn near jacked my fingers up.
