    Stuck BX

Not having cleated tires is why 4wd was useless. Locking in the rear differential might have helped. Putting anything under the tires for traction would have worked.

    Calling ALL Virginians

Hell I was blown away with the gal who just recently left me. She had never been before and loved every minute of the event the two times I took her there. We would stay late at night and watch the big rigs pull the sled. Oddly during the day she was all into the lawnmower pulling the little...

Kubota helped the Ford get dressed

The Ford tractor it's being mounted on isn't much bigger then a BX, looks like an old 10 series Ford. 1210 or 1310

BX, B, or L? Help please!

If its a dump truck of any substantial size such as a medium duty like a Ford F650 a B or BX wont have the lift height to load. A light duty truck like an F350 you may be able to load on the end with the tail gate down. You'd still be better off with an L series for loading trucks.

    More weights

I had thought of that but wasn't sure if threaded rod that small would hold 100lbs. Next question where would I find bar bell weights??

    More weights

I did make this discovery today. I never noticed I have three threaded bolt holes on each side of the bracket that holds the current weights on. They are plugged up with a plastic cap to protect the threads. There is a number 5012 on the side of the weights, not real sure what they mean if...

What have you made for you tractor

That's a slick idea! Way cheaper then a grapple bucket for moving logs

    More weights

Thanks for the formula Russell that's a starting point. I don't think water in the ittybityy front tires would be of much use here, may gain a few pounds but doubtful it's enough for any significant improvement. Maybe I'll just get some duct tape and tape the hell out of more weights. Duct...

BX, B, or L? Help please!

I'm an advocate for gear tranny. I've ran tractors with both gear and hydro and for me I can feel out a gear better then hydro. For example I can feel the tractor bogging down and loosing traction better on a gear then I can hydro. A petpeeve for me is I can't stand the loud obnoxious whine...

BRILLIANT I love the loggin hook idea. Does the hook turn the log loose ok when you're dropping the log?

The other issue with double stacking weights like Wildfire did is I have a full tilt hood on my B6100. Something like he did would prevent me from opening the hood. So the other issue here is I need to hang weights beside the existing suite case weights. Or see what might be involved in adding...

    More weights

I dont need a whole helluva lot of addational weight up front. I'm thinking maybe another one hundered pounds at best. So DanDan there is absolutly NO NEED to fab up something remotely close to what Wildfire built for that ice machine. I'd like to find a simple and affordable solution to...
