Over the weekend an acquaintance dropped off a custom set of Bags for me. They turned out very nice. Got to use them too, last camping weekend for the year, I would imagine.

Slim,

very nice !!!

In one of my shop engineering classes, students must design the proper leg angles and what not on the computer and hard copy it into the shop. We use 7/8" poplar plywood and pine for the outside, we use to paint custom logo's ....that was a PITA !!!!!! Making them is fun, we countersink, screw, and plug the holes, sand it smooth as a babies ass, and then we sell them - the hell with the painting and or staining -

we play cornhole 'round these part rather religiously.......even make the scoreboards, drink holders.....the whole nine yards. One of my other classes, top of the line engineering classes MUST make a mechanical arm that will toss the 16oz bag some 30 feet to hit the hole - it will take them a couple of weeks to complete this task, some are using an overhand catapult type method, some are using a counter weight method and I got two groups that want to build it pneumatically .......
we'll see which group wins. They have to play the game to 21 just like normal !!!!:D

They would have had a lot more kids signing up for shop class if you were the teacher, way back when I was in school. Hell if you were local, i would sign up now. Sounds like a lot of fun:D

The hard part is that they just want to go in the shop and build the damn things.....as simple as it is, I want them to think the damn thing through - so when the going gets tough.....they have a plan. Kinda like splitting a tractor, I WOULD want to know WTF I was getting into before I #@$#@ it all up!!!!!!!:D:D
I will send pictures when they get their "stuff" together!:)
