I bought one from my dealer and love it.....I have a lot of areas I mow that I am constantly turning and changing direction. One of those things for me that now that I have one......I will always have one.

One of the first mods I did to my Kubota was to add the speed-knob. Can`t imagine not having one when working controls with the other hand. Have one on my boat as well.

Nope, don't like them. I use to use them but quit quite a few years ago.

I kinda have a mixed opinion on them. Can't stand it on the tractor, got hung up on it and removed it. Got one on the fork lift at work, and love it. They have there place depending on the machine it's being used on:D

A lot of factors in this one for me. They can be a blessing or a painful curse, especially on rack and pinion style steering.

I haven't had need of one on the L3200, even rapid end turns are done with just the palm of your hand. If you have a lot of turns though on a non-power steering model, I'd certainly consider trying one out for the price. Watch the fingers, hands, arms, sleeves and shirt front though... (don't ask!)

Don't have to ask.:( Been there done that.
You learn quick unless you like the pain.
No power steering on my tractors.

Long legs, small tractor, wearing carpenter pants and one of them things don't mix:rolleyes: it's rather embarrassing having to yell to the neighbors to bring over some scissors to cut the hammer loop off your britches:eek: not to mention the atomic wedgy

now you have a picture of that ??????

ROTFLMAO!!!

I can see the problem - not to mention hitting something without power steering and the knob whipping around and smacking the hell out of your hand!

Loved it on my big rig. I'd be worried using it on non power steering. I've had the wheel spin out of my hand from force and damn near jacked my fingers up.

Have them on both tractors and wouldn't want to be without one.

I help my neighbor out on his farm quite a bit and none of his tractors have them, just doesn't feel right. Been thinking on buying a spare knob and swap it out on his tractors when I'm working there.

Just realize that one reason they were outlawed on trucks/big rigs in many states is in an accident..... they cause excessive damage to either the skull, ribs, heart etc. where no damage would probably have occurred without it. Nasty thing to impale yourself with.
