L3130 - suspected crankshaft damage - how to remove engine

Hmmm, sure does. I wouldn't worry too much about the drawing now. I think your plan of first finding the switches and testing is good enough. One thing though to check is a loose or frayed wire around the hst pedal and/ or linkage. Might be something like that rather than a switch. Goodluck

L3130 - suspected crankshaft damage - how to remove engine

I looked up the L3130 on Messicks website and found the electrical system and switches https://www.messicks.com/ku/85318?sectionId=218881&diagramId=356052 I'm thinking it's a switch also. If you can isolate the switch (disconnect from harness) when testing you'll probably get better test...

    Hydraulic cylinder repair help

As mentioned, both options (new fitting or new cylinders) are viable. A decent welding shop can weld on a new fitting for you but I also suggest you examine the cylinder bore for scratches or gouges. Then check the rods for straightness and to ensure that the chrome is intact with no major...

    L5740 Rattle HELP

What were you doing with the tractor when this noise appeared? In the second video, is that hydraulic oil dripping? Where is it coming from? Hi-Lo solenoid area? When you actually drive the machine placing the clutch/gears et.al. under load, does the noise change? Is the noise definitely...

    Getting right comprestion tester kit?

@garrettohio Not exactly sure what your current problem is that you're trying to solve. Please can you be more specific with what happened and what it is you're trying to do? Messicks shows 3 versions of the 2900 So when I look at Messicks, the injector for your engine is same as my L35 (fits...

L35/BT900 Boom Cylinder and Bushing Work

Good Points, guys. I should've mentioned that there are 2 boom cylinders based upon S/N. That's S/N of the Backhoe - not the cylinders themselves. There are 2 cylinder types for Swing, Dipper, Stabilizer, and Bucket as well. Here are the Boom cylinders:

L35/BT900 Boom Cylinder and Bushing Work

    My gutless wonder

Hey @skeets Good one! I wasn't aware of your ongoing issues with the 2601 so bear with me. Three things come to mind before we all jump into the engine stuff e.g. (HP, compression, injection. etc) 1) Is it possible there is a lot of drag between the pto and the blades? 2) Is the blade...

    Leak at cylinder fitting

To be clear, when i did the work on the cylinder it was disassembled, oil removed, cleaned with soap and water and brake cleaner. I also stripped off all the paint since it was going to be powdercoated and rebuilt.

    Leak at cylinder fitting

Yeah i was hoping it was because thats easier to fix. A welding shop should be able to fix that quite easily tbough. My thought is that welding could loosen the brazing depending how they do it. You might be better off doing what i did.

    Leak at cylinder fitting

The cylinder has a small piece of tubing welded onto it to which the nipple is brazed. In the first pic, you can see the brass line once I moved the nipple into a 90 deg position. Likely the nipple/hose was bumped into something. I didn't have a torch hot enough for brazing, so I ended up...
