Ugh - I played a different version of the same game with the weak front hub on my 1210... I would have preferred the wheel version.

FWIW - I've never seen that failure before. Maybe you can reweld?

Wheel and hub are a one piece assembly. No lugnuts - its held on the axle with a circlip....

Any chance the added weights on the front added to the failure?
I doubt it. The weights are OEM for that lawn tractor and recommended with the GCK rear bagger. Without them the front gets real light when the bagger starts getting full of grass.

My MIG welder would fix that for a lot less than $130.

While I agree - getting the axle's centerline axis dead balls perpendicular to the face of the rim would tough. I am sure a little jig could be built to hold every thing "square and true" - even a little bit off would be seen quite noticeably however.

It would cost very little to try and if it failed - only thing lost is time and effort.
