I'm new to the forum, I have a opportunity to purchase a 2008 B2320 4WD HST with loader, pallet forks in great condition 240 hrs. I know the original owner and he is asking 10K. I'm new to the tractor world and would like your opinions to if this a fair and going rate for this model of tractor. I will use it to maintain my food plots and would like to add a finish mower to cut approx 3 acres. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

As far as pricing it sounds very good. You can verify that with a search on Tractorhouse.com to see comparable models and pricing. It is unlikely however that you will find one on Tractorhouse that is 9 years old with that few hours. I suspect you can find a newer machine for that amount though. It's something to consider since that machine has been changed and improved in the last 9 years.
As far as the B2320 goes, I have one and I think it is great. Mine however is less than 1 year old. I pull a finish mower with it and it does the trick for me. I also have a loader and a box blade which seem to get more use than the mower.
You will be happy with it. I have 5.5 acres, three which I cut. The rest is wooded and I play in the woods with my B.
Consider a ballast box when you use the loader...it makes it much more stable.

Just for reference: This last spring, I sold my 2014 B2320HSD with loader, 60" MMM, 50" front mount snowblower, and 60" back blade for $16,000.
The pallet forks and the cheap back blade are probably about the same value... So the difference is the MMM, the snowblower, and the year it was built. The blower was probably $3,500 new and the mower was about $2500 new. So maybe those are worth $3,000 together used. And I bought mine in January 2014... so it was probably built in 2013. That would be about 5 years difference in manufacture date. At, say, $500 per year of lost value (just a guess to put a value on it), that would be another $2,500 difference between yours and mine. Therefore, to compare:
$16,000 2014 B2320HSD w/...
- $3,000 blower and mower
- $2,500 Age difference
= $10,500 comparable value
My dealer offered me $12,500 trade in value (and said I should not take it... thought I could get more). I think, $16,000 was fair for mine, but was a good price. The $500 per year loss in value is probably overkill, but it is a place to start.
Given the above, $10,000 seems like a fair price assuming it was not abused, or left outside the whole time (if it was, I would be offering something less).
It is a nice tractor and I really miss that thing, but I needed something bigger for some work I had coming up. And I could not convince the wife that I needed two tractors.

Thank you for the input it was very helpful, the tractor has been well maintained and garage kept. My friend brought it to my property twice the past year and did some work on the trails and dug some fence posts. I was really impressed how smooth it operated. I have a Kubota dealer 9 miles away from the property who pick up and deliver if needed. They serviced my RTV 1140 and the service was amazing 1 day turn around time so I feel confident about the purchase with the dealer so close if needed.
Knowing the previous owner and history of the tractor adds value to it.
Since you have a relationship with the current owner and the dealer, if you're skeptical of something, ask the owner if you can pay the dealer to go over the tractor to find any thing needing attention.
Be in agreement with the owner on a price and if it passes the inspection you pay him and have it delivered to your place.

Well I'm now the proud owner of the B2320. I have a quick question I have a 4 foot tiller for it now. I would like to know if I can run a single blade plow with this tractor?
A one bottom plow ought to do fine on your tractor...just can't use the plow and the tiller at the same time

I'm in my second year of ownership of my 2012 2320. Last year I picked up a middle buster from TSC and it dragged it through heavy dry clay with no loss of traction. A big enough root will stop the tractor, but for general plowing it will do just fine. Best to keep your HST in low range, though it will pull in mid range as well.
I'm also running 4 ft box blade. The tractor will pull a full box with no trouble at all, even with the scarifiers down.
I've removed 25 tons of soil to get our property to drain right.
