Kubota L35 rear end gear discontinued part 32751-15122

Congrats on a resourceful solution providing more lifespan for your L35 ! So many machine lives end early - but some have clever and persistent owners ! Good doing - and we'll look forward to operating reports. Take care, Dick B

HST Issue - Jerky Motion - SOLVED

" Just a statement: The L48 I believe uses the same proportional valves to establish "desired" position" The L48's HST regulator is quite different - no electronic controls at all. Its all mechanical linkage - even uses an external 2-way strut damper to prevent hydraulic shock from abrupt...

HST Issue - Jerky Motion - SOLVED

I think I have a theory about what's going on with the OP's L4740HSTC-3 In my L48's HST, the servo regulator establishes a "desired" position for the swashplate and the hydraulic piston moves it there. But Kubota's newer control features provide some independence of engine rpm, hydraulic...

HST Issue - Jerky Motion - SOLVED

From the symptoms (as I understand them) the tractor is acting like its doing unintended, quick changes of gear range without conditions calling for it. Does this L4740HSTC-3 have menu-selectable HST mode controls? As Kubota has developed the HST transmission, adding electro-hydraulic...

Lots of Noise Front of Engine No pressue to bucket

The pump will turn using a 1/2" electric drill - use a 3/8" socket extension or similar, using a socket on the pump shaft with something in the keyway to make it drive. The system is open-center so when it starts to turn there should be very little resistance. If that seems to work ok without...

    L345 left steering arm

Knuckles are 35340-11210 RH and 35340-99011 LH 2wd L345 steering parts drawing from KSC website: If you poked around an auto junk yard you might find something close. Or maybe a local fab shop could make you one, especially if they have the other one to go by.

    Leaking Boom Cylinder

On my LA450 loader the curl cylinders started leaking - they came apart easily using a pipe wrench on the outer gland nut. For inserting new seals, a tool like like this makes it simple - cylinder can stay connected on the tractor - just take out the pin and cylinder rod. I took my old seals to...

    L4150 fuel issue?

The lift pump's pressure and flow are both pretty low. The lift pump is permanently assembled so its not possible to inspect its little one-way flapper valves inside - dirt can get past the filter and keep them from sealing. Or the diaphragm can fail. A new lift pump is usually the answer.

    zen noh ZL2202DT = kubota ?????

Carl, If it was made around 1979 and has 3 cylinders, the this manual might come pretty close or show enough to give orientation on what's what. Dick B

    zen noh ZL2202DT = kubota ?????

Found this link - which says Kubota had a L2202 model. And this one has more details. The L2202 ran from 1978 to 1985 and the L2250 succeeded it and ran from 1985 to 1990. Kubota's manuals often group several similar models using the same overall chassis but with different engine sizes...

    L345DT timing cover oil leak

My first L345DT had an oil leak I thought was at the front of the head. I replaced the head gasket but the leak persisted. Along the top edge of the front gear case its gasket to the block is very narrow. Oil was getting out through there. Rather than take off the cover I cleaned the area...

Don't pinch your foot taking off a QA attachment !!

When my wife came outside to see why I was hollering, she didn't realize I was pinned. I had already pushed a 3' piece of 4x6 from the end trying to make the other end start along the loader lever - but it wasn't long enough or heavy enough to do the job. I told her to lift the wood piece off...

Don't pinch your foot taking off a QA attachment !!

I was taking my pallet forks off the L48 so I put the loader in "float" and went around to open the QA levers. The loader floated down - and caught my shoe! It was pressing hard enough I was stuck - couldn't pull my foot out and couldn't reach the loader lever. Luckily my wife heard me...

    Can't remove rear bonnet

Here's are screen shots from K's parts website - not sure what the order of bolt removal is for getting inside. The tach cable usually fails inside its sheath near the tightest bend. Can get to the parts lists following this. I'm guessing there are several versions of the bonnet "kit" for...

    New here! - Kubota l345dt

Yes you could adjust the clutch pedal rod back to its old length to verify it disengages the pto (travel clutch may no longer drive). For the clutch i keep an extra one like this on hand - used in lots of models and is good quality. Put in a new release bearing too. On the front end job, I'd...

    New here! - Kubota l345dt

The L345 has a 2-stage clutch, one disk for travel, the other for pto. They are not separately adjustable like on other models. As the pedal linkage is adjusted for wear, it gets to a point where the pto clutch no longer disengages. The good news is that when you split the tractor for a new...

    No start on a L5450

Over time the L5450's fuel pickup pipe in the tank's bottom cup can get clogged with debris. The tank also has 2 vent lines which will allow air in if the clogging develops too much suction in the pickup pipe. When my L5450 gets air in the fuel line, I take off the feed line at the filter and...

    B8200 2 speed PTO 540/748 rpm.

If your objective is to have 540 actual pto rpm, but with the higher pto speed selected, set the engine around 1900 rpm.

    B8200 2 speed PTO 540/748 rpm.

Normal full engine speed is around 2300-2500 rpm. The pto gearing is directly proportional. 540/748 is about 72 percent so running the engine at around 1700 would produce 540 rpm at the pto when on the 748 setting. 2-speed pto's were once common on Kubotas. Some implements outside the US are...
