Love the tractor, nightmare with the bobcat style quick couplers

Also is the leak the connection that slides on the connector or is it the o ring for the connection to the manifold? Last thought is the internal of the female coupler would be an o ring for sealing to the male side connector. Is there a burr or something sharp that is damaging the o ring when...

Finish mower blade sharpening? Jigs, freehand, angle grinder, bench grinder, stone, paper?

I use this for the blades on my zero turn. I found it used for about 50% of the new cost and it works really well. It makes sharpening them better than I could do by hand. I have 5 sets of blades I rotate from being on the mower to getting sharpened. I only get 10-15 hours out of them before the...

    Wiring rops lights - LX2610

On my LX610 the back light harness can handle 10 amps and is only "HOT" when the key is in the run position.

NEW WG24 Stump Grinder - Initial impressions!

I would just grind a box end wrench to fit... Also I have not tried this place but it's not far from me and seems to have really good prices on teeth new or to get your re-sharpened... https://www.jeffssharpening.com/

    Input on grapple mod

I don't see why it would not work... I would think that a series of tack welds would hold it fine. Also it's unlikely anything thicker than 16 or 14 gauge steel would be needed. If it's like my EA grapple it's only about 8-9" between the tines.

    LX2610 vs. L2502 + Pricing

Just my $.02.... I am in Mid-Michigan I also have 10 acres but 5 of it is heavily wooded. about 2 is mowed grass. the remaining is open field that I let the dairy farmer down the road bale so I don't have to cut it. That said my usage is different for example my drive is blacktop and only 300'...

Looking for someone parting out a B2650

the LX2610 is pretty much the same tractor so you might get more success broadening the search to include that. If it's engine related parts from any D1305 MIGHT also be a help. The differences in the different D1305's would be mostly with fuel settings of the pump along with the accessories /...

What insurance source for privately owned 2021 Kubota M62 TLB.... in Virginia?

Find an agent that specializes in Commercial insurance. You should be able to get a stand alone inland marine policy. just be aware that it likely will be a surplus lines policy and probably be close to a $1,000 a year as a stand alone risk....

    Quick coupler

I have mine setup with flat face 3/8' couplers never have had issues with hooking them not sure a single point lever would really save any time to speak of you have to wipe off the face no matter what you use just to help keep the fluid clean.

    D1105 what are these fittings?

It just occurred to me, why not connect that fuel injector overflow rail barb to the barb on the front of the pump which sees lift pump pressure? It would be the same as going back to the tank, right? Or even just tee it into the fuel line just before the engine? Because going to the tank it's...

    What to purchase...

Just a couple of things from my experience in Michigan. My barn has 2 doors 1 is a normal 9*7 car door the other 12*14 for the truck a LX ROPs will not fit the car for without folding the ROPs. My old B7510 would go in either door. 2). MMM mower decks are a PITA if you are doing dirt work...

    Rear blade

I have a 250' asphalt drive that I plow with a steel edge back blade. Agree the trick is to shorten the top link so the blade is leaning forward ( assuming you plow like I do driving Forward) if the snow is more than about 8" I will set the bucket about 4" off the drive to Cut the top layer...

    Trying to understand specs

Well that is true. The last few times I have rented a stump grinder. The teeth have been worn out. That just make the job twice as hard. I've hired out getting them ground and that's an option with I have 30 or so stumps that need grinding. But it's expensive to have just 1 or 2 done. Yes the...

    Trying to understand specs

Just my $0.02 If all your doing with the backhoe is digging out stumps. Consider getting the Woodland Mills WG-24 stump grinder. I use mine with me LX2610 and it works great also takes less room to store.

    Trying to understand specs

Best suggestion is to go to a dealer and sit on and drive both around the lot. I got the LX2610 because it would run everything I need including the stump grinder. With the added bonus of not exhaust aftertreatment (DPF). But with the weight of the backhoe you might find it to be underpowered...

Grapple, survey and a little market research...

Agree! building stuff is fun but given what it costs to buy steel for a project like a rake around here in Mid-Michigan it's the same or cheaper to just buy one pre-made.

    Pole barn construction

One of the companies around here in Michigan uses concrete poles till they are about 3-4' up out of the ground the wood past that. Also do the final grade so water runs away form the poles and have gutters and downspouts or at least a 2' overhang so the rain water does not collect next to the poles.
