    B6100 loader pickup points

The factory loader subframe for the B219 loader at least (I know there is one other but forget the number) engages 3 bolts at the rear axle, 4 bolts up at the engine, and 2 bolts in the center sort of underneath the steering box, hidden by the 'floorboards'. This is from memory but pictures of...

    Ballast Removal?

I should have been specific, the 1700-2500 number was PSI, not lbs of lift. My tiny tractors have a 3pt lift barely over 500lbs. My b8200 lifts more but the backhoe is never coming off if i have a choice! I bought an old Kubota L210 that is rated to lift 2000lbs (which is absurd because it...

    Make shift land plane

You know, now that i think of it.. maybe that's not easy! I haven't actually dumped material out of a dump bed/trailer (even though i have driven a dump truck for reasons of working on it as a mechanic). There's probably a lot of technique to trying to get a 2" depth to come out the back of a...

It will LIFT 1900 but will it HOLD more?

You know what, I shouldn't have said anything about it. You never know what minorly different wording is going to make it 'click' for somebody anyway. I was childish to comment that.. my apologies.

    Hanix Mini Giant excavator?

Can you show the parts that came out 33-37? Curious what they look like since i can't discern a reason for there to be so many pieces to it, from the diagram. I have a couple of broken pallet jack i am going to tear down and try to make fork attachments out of, and i noticed the long pivot...

    How much does it weigh

I'm no tractor trivia expert but when i try to think of the newest tractor ive seen with cast steel wheels i still come up with some pretty dang old stuff.. Is it more common than i realize? I feel like it is mostly 1950s and back!

    Ballast Removal?

^ Exactly. If the 3pt won't go down any more it is hitting a mechanical limit but there is no pressure left on the piston. Plus, how much pressure the piston sees while holding something steady, is nothing compared to what the pressure can spike to when you hit a hard bump while holding...

It will LIFT 1900 but will it HOLD more?

Well damn, you're making me feel self-conscious that i somehow didn't make any sense when i said the exact same thing the post before! :cautious: But yes, i agree it's generally a bad idea to go very far beyond the lifting limits of a loader or 3pt because the limits actually are set where...

    Ballast Removal?

It's possible you could change a setting such as where the lift links/side links attach to the lower arms, to make it touch the ground. Or, if it's close you could actually just screw a couple of scraps of 2x4 or 4x4 to the bottom of it so it will touch ground. Or set it on something. Or do...

PTO clutch and pto lever use

Some of this is just annoying semantics because people use the words BOTH ways when referring to a clutch. A clutch is technically something that DISengages something. If you just took a clutch assembly out from between two shafts and replaced it with a coupler or made it one shaft it would...

It will LIFT 1900 but will it HOLD more?

So i agree not to try it in this particular case. But i HAVE put something on the 3pt that the 3pt won't lift, helped it lift with a floor jack, and then carried the 'held' load somewhere else to put down. So in general, that is a thing that is POSSIBLE. But as said it would depend on...

    How much does it weigh

I have some filled 13.6-16s on my b8200 and i would guess they are well over 300lbs. Enough to make me nervous thinking about dismounting them.

    Frankenstein B6100

That hood is kinda wretched and also kind of wonderful. Can we get more pics of the 3pt thing sitting on the tractor there? Looks interesting to me. I have a b6100 w/b219 and factory subframe and the factory subframe really is wonderful.. I would guess most homemade subframes come nowhere close...

    PTO Generator with B2650?

The most basic thing you need to know for sizing a generator to a tractor pto is that 1hp=746 watts. So, for example 10kw = 13.4hp. Then you fudge factor for efficiency losses of probably 20% (a nice pessimistic rule that is safe to use for many many things). 13.4/0.8= ~17hp. This is less...

    2 Wheel Drive

Thanks for the info! I'd love to have more exposure to that type of equipment just for curiosity's sake.. but not sure i want to get roped into working on any..😅 And yeah my b8200 has the steering brakes and hydro pedal on the same side.. ive never even touched them!

    2 Wheel Drive

I've also found that the diff lock sometimes won't disengage unless i steer back and forth a little while rolling. You can hear/feel when it happens on mine. Probably due to a wear pattern on the parts causing something that should slide freely to hang up a little unless you unload that surface...

    Better traction on a B3000

From left to right, R4, R3 , R1. Also Industrial, Turf, Ag. I dont see the term bar tire used much anymore, i think because the proliferation of r4s made it kind of overly vague.
