Thanks for the add, inherited this creature and found my way here

Wife’s grandad was given thisB610 with a bad motor, so he pulled the D950
Engine out of a scrap Jacobsen mower and cobbled it together. Snagged a L181 loader last week for cheap, so working on cleaning up some of his hose and electrical work then time to build a subframe. Any advice on loader mounting is appreciated.

also, does anybody have a spare hood floating around?

Here are a couple pics of the subframe for a B7100 with a B219 loader, and the supports that attach to the front of the tractor frame. Should be able to get some ideas from these. This subframe ties the front frame, engine/bell housing, and the rear differential into one unit.

That hood is kinda wretched and also kind of wonderful. Can we get more pics of the 3pt thing sitting on the tractor there? Looks interesting to me.

I have a b6100 w/b219 and factory subframe and the factory subframe really is wonderful.. I would guess most homemade subframes come nowhere close to adding this much strength, and the b6100 really benefits from adding as much weight as possible anyway for traction. I'm sure many other designs would be 'near as good' but it's a great starting point for ideas.

I'll be following this with interest!

haha, hood was definitely a large disconnect box in its past life. I’d love to find a replacement, but hadn’t had any luck yet.

frame will be 1/2 plate, and be pretty close to how the original one mounted.

Here's a link to the article I posted when I adapted a B219 FEL to my B5100 tractor. This might helps w/ some of your design issues.
