New guy here, FEL digging question

I don't really think 'abusive to the machine' is the issue here. You can use your loader bucket to push on the ground all you want. Picking the front tires off the ground doesn't hurt anything. You can barely even drop them back to the ground hard enough to concern me, personally. The way you...

    Bucket lift capacity

This is a BF300 loader. 300 kilos = 661lbs. That rating is 'to full height'. I calculated this load to over 1000lbs. That was as high as it would lift it (i did not drive it like that). So i think your capacity 'to 1ft off the ground' could be as much as double what its 'lift to full height'...

Am I Missing Some Parts from my 3 Point Setup?

I have a 6100 with a very similar style of limiters, but not exactly the same. Mine DO mount directly inboard of the 3pt arms as OP's were, not above the drawbar. BUT, the other end where it hooks to the arms is much further out, on a separate mounting tab. OP's are just mounted into the other...

    B7100 rebuild

I would not call oil smoke black. It is usually white with a blue-ish tinge when it gets heavy. Burning coolant is also white-ish although it appears 'lighter' (rises and dissipates more quickly once it leaves the exhaust pipe). Dark grey to black smoke is usually unburned fuel (running VERY...

    B7100 rebuild

If it only smokes after a couple minutes, it is oil getting into the exhaust AFTER the combustion chamber, which means exhaust valve guides. Oil going into the combustion chamber gets burned right away and smokes right away at startup. Oil that gets into the exhaust stream after the combustion...

    B7100 Hydraulic block diverter (70060-00360 or 70070-00385)

We all do it! Sometimes i have to edit my own post 3 times before i leave a page. 😅 Yes, count me in. Thanks.

Vertical exhaust mod on my B5100.

My b6100 with b219 fel is vertical. Also noticed a nice difference in unpleasantness from exhaust by pointing my 'flapper' away from me, as both yalls already are. I am fixing up a B219 FEL b6100 for a friend and his was left pointing forward but physically bent upwards a bit, and it blows...

    Kubota B6000 wheel/tyre size

I dont even think the various factory size 'sets' match each other all that well as far as that ratio. Plus tractor tires are notoriously inconsistent within a given size as far as their overall diameter (this brand runs taller, this brand runs wider etc etc). What I have noticed from driving a...

Is my Flail Mower too big for my 'new' Kubota B7001 / B7100?

Glad you just went for it, usually the main difference between too little hp and enough is just how quick you can work. Labor of love indeed! But the 7100 sure is fun to use (i have 6100 and 7100 as a parts tractor) and it sort of makes how long things take less annoying because you can have...

    B7100 Hydraulic block diverter (70060-00360 or 70070-00385)

Thanks! I'm guessing the B is boss, as in o-ring boss? I like how compact it is. Im filing this away in case i ever want to request my local shop put that style end on a hose for me. Unfortunately I am NOT ready to swing my own crimping setup even though that's about the only thing I ever have...

    B7100 Hydraulic block diverter (70060-00360 or 70070-00385)

I really like that fitting.. what is the term for it? Totally agree about oversized hoses/fittings just making things harder and uglier. And tapping this thing for 3/4 npt.. typo?

    B7100 Hydraulic block diverter (70060-00360 or 70070-00385)

Following with interest. My 6100 with FEL didn't even come with that manifold in my pressure line, but luckily my buddy bought a near identical 6100 with FEL that had the block so i was able to swap pressure lines with him since his has a backhoe as well and no real plans for future hydraulics...

Post hole digger with down pressure

Never seen this before. I once started messing with a little program called Linkage for modeling the movement of things such as this, but my attention span wouldn't allow me to get much use out of it..

    Operation at 450 PTO rpm

I definitely understand not every '540' implement needing to spin 540 to work well enough. Honestly, whatever works...works! I can't think of anything that has a 'minimum' rpm in terms of needing to spin a minimum speed to not break. That point might exist with something like a chipper/shredder...

    Front Loader stuck

Glad you got the symptom diagnosed (snot). Now.. what is the cause? I don't have a ton of experience with hydraulics unless you count automotive but ive never run into junk thick enough to hold back 1000 psi in a fairly large hose/line. That's impressive but begs further questions.

    Kubota B6000 Aux Hydraulics

On my b6100 there is a T-handle lever right next to that outlet port that switches back and forth between 3pt and external port. I would guess the see-saw problem Dan mentioned is the reason why all of the selector valve styles are either/or but not 'both'. As for the transmission fill plug...
