    PTO Shaft recommendation

https://a.co/d/2P5nsd3 Replaced one last year. 47HP. $135. Surprised of the quality. Having proper safety shielding important. Properly adjusted slip clutch saves wear on driveline.

Burn barrel fun....................Just fell in love with some new angle grinder disks.

Tried those grinding disks a few years ago. Really fast removal of stock with light pressure. Light pressure the key to long life. Nice option for beveling thicker stock. Anytime you can get kids off their phones and doing stuff is a win for all. Hypertherm has external and internal...

    uncomfortable seat help

Longer bolts and rubber pads help raise and lean back the seat to fit better. Seat cover and added a gel seat pad too. Sure is more comfortable.

    BH92 buckets

Got both the M59 excavator coupler and black Kubota excavator buckets from USA Attachments in North Carolina.

    BH92 buckets

One of the more useful backhoe attachment beside the thumb is a ripper tooth. So impressed with M59 ripper wanted one for the B26. Couldn’t find one so instead of making one, made an adapter to use the KX quick attach ripper on the B26. The little B26 can handle the excavator ripper just fine...

    BH92 buckets

A thumb makes all the difference with wood or rock handling. The M59 OEM foot control never suited me. Something about the ergonomics seemed awkward. Similar foot control on the B26 did better. Modified the M59 with bigger and slightly back cleats help fit my big feet. Also added a hand...

National Park Service 4WD Only Trails. No AWD Allowed.

My Honda Ridgeline AWD is great on our hillside farm. Steep gravel can stop and start without a spin. I'm sure it can handle our limited snow and ice. Low ground clearance not meant for off road.

    2 small fabrication jobs.

Good job! My Dad had a little Rhino backhoe attachment that the outriggers were fast and made to be feet mashers if not careful. Small backhoes are far more dangerous than the bigger ones. Often use boom lock and necessary when parked in tractor shed. Side to side only transport. On a...

    3pt PTO forestery mulchers

Any equipment like this needs to run properly adjusted slip pto shaft clutches. Since it had sat outside and shielding plastic was gone too, I replaced the pto shaft and slip clutch. Do to the tremendous inertia also using a an overriding clutch used for bushhogging too. The blades cut 2-3”...

    Backhoe on TLB48

I wouldn’t worry about draining the cylinders. Maintenance schedule accounts for some remaining oil. Don’t know about your L48, but my B20, B26 and M59 have multiple drain points for the hydraulic oil. If you did have some water contamination it would require multiple drain, fill with new...

    3pt PTO forestery mulchers

5’ Brown tree cutter easily chips up trees under 3”. Strips larger stems. Rated to 6” trees. Have cut twice that close to the ground. Takes. Lots of horsepower. 45 pto, I’m at the low end of operating hp. HST and heavy tractor helps. Bought used for $1200 and most of the wear was from sitting...

Open Cage Style Four Post ROPS

A sturdy four post canopy is must for working in the woods. Had many ag tractors and various pieces of construction equipment. Now just two Kubota TLBs.

    Ignorance is bliss.

Took years of searching to find a landscape model (without a backhoe) M59 I could afford. Two years to find a BT1200 backhoe after I bought the tractor. Sure have enjoyed the setup. Investment has increased in value considerably. The TLB platform fits our hillside lifestyle well.

    MX grab handle and crossbar

Nice design and blacksmithing skills. Appreciate the added safety ergonomics of your improved egress on/off the tractor particularly operating in off road environments. Few understand the time, skill, and engineering it takes to develop a prototype. All can appreciate the final product ...

    FEL bucket - 6 or 7 foot

Bought my M59 used from a landscaper that had a long bottom, high back skidsteer HD 5’ bucket. Thought I needed a wider bucket but learned to really appreciate it. Lot easier to maneuver in woods and near buildings. High capacity. Had a local Piranha bar company make a custom weld in cutting...

Which came first, the chicken or the egg...... Spun tire off rim.....Damn it!

Your experience seem to mimic my own. Low tire pressure makes it easy to roll off the rim especially the front. Once done in the dirt and possible damage to the sealing surfaces makes possible a slow leak point. Tire sealants help with leaks but they also seem to react with the air and reduce...

Stuck between Kubota M62 and L47

The 3pt hitches on the true Kubotas TLBs are a little lacking especially at the price point. Use ours 90% in 3pt mode. Changing implements frequently. Did modify to pin stabilizers, Pats quick hitch and gear leveling box on B26 to make life much easier. Love the rear access to creep mode on...

Stuck between Kubota M62 and L47

Size does matter. Blessed with both a M59 and B26. Definitely many places in and around buildings the M59 is too big.

B2650 blowing fuse for safety switches

My B26 just did the same thing, same 5amp fuse. The HST safety switch had been a problem getting loose. Earlier that day the tractor stopped with my wife mowing. Checked the safety switch, still tight, operated and thought I could hear it open and break contact. Tried to start and it did. She...
