I just purchased a 2004 L4400 tractor I love it so far. My question is the seat isn't torn or ragged. but it is very uncomfortable when you are heading down hill it is very hard to keep from sliding out. anyone else have that problem? or is there a fix ?

The fix is to throw away the seat and buy an air suspension seat. OEM Kubota seats suck.

How is the
Seat bolted in on the B2601.. Yeah my long, old not so bendy legs, could us another 2 or 3 inches of foot room. So I was wondering if any one had a blow up of how the seat is set to the lower bracket. My thought is maybe a couple pieces of 1/8 flat stock or maybe just drilling some new holes in...

I did somewhat like what Chim (above) did. Only replaced the front 2 bolts with longer ones and I used a boatload of washers for the spacing. Raised it an inch.
Longer bolts and rubber pads help raise and lean back the seat to fit better. Seat cover and added a gel seat pad too. Sure is more comfortable.

In addition to using your seatbelt, you could try a seat cover. A tight fitting cover made from cordura /endura would prevent slipping. There are places that custom make seat covers.

I bought an endura seat cover for my tractor; it was less than $40. They did not have my tractor listed (it is an LX2610 SU - has a different seat than the LX2610). However, I provided them measurements and photos, and they suggested a close match. It fits great.

I JUST installed one on my BX23S. GREAT deal...it actually fit though I bet it can be installed withought taking the seat off he tractor( no instructions with it). Will wait for Mr. Sun to 'stretch' the armsrest covers and have no idea what the piec with velcro on it it for BUT a fantastic DEAl !!!
