    Kubota b7100d. Engine question

The flywheel and clutch should be identical between the two machines.

    B1750 Making a terrible noise!!

As stated above, a throw-out bearing shouldn't be making noise in neutral as it doesn't contact the plate fingers until you depress the clutch. It sounds like something may be out of alignment, specifically like the tips of two gears are lightly touching and not fully engaged. I've done this...

    Kubotas to avoid

I guess I should have worded it better to say any pre-emissions B or BX series. Two things I would never consider are a computer controlled diesel engine or emissions nonsense. Both will ruin the best designed engines at some point....

    Kubotas to avoid

Agree 110%. I don't think Kubota ever made a "lemon" B or BX either. They are tough little machines.

    Help identifying wheel size

According to Messicks, the 9.5x16 tire was an option for the front on the M5700 narrow model only. They do list the rim as being 8x16. I'd be willing to bet the bolt pattern is identical to the B7100 rear hubs. You can also tell by looking at the rim it's lug-centric like the rears on the...

    Mid pto assembly

Also looking on Messicks it appears they are not interchangable. It looks like the Grand L40 & L60 series share the same mid-pto parts though.

    Help identifying wheel size

I’d ask the seller to read what is stamped on the rim.

Mixing AG front with Turf rear tires?

Depending on the size and weight of the machine, you can test how closely matched the front is to the rear. Drive tractor to flat surface. Place trans in neutral and engage the front axle. Give the machine a push. Does it resist or make any excessive noises? If it pushes ok, they are...

    Firewood Lifting Capacity on BX

I'm 6'4'' and my lower back reminds me how much fun it is to get the bottom pieces out. I wound up shortening a lot of my totes for that exact reason. I don't think a good way exists without modifying the totes.

    B7510 won’t start

The aluminum fin box sounds like the voltage regulator for the dynamo. I don’t think that would affect the starting circuit

    Firewood Lifting Capacity on BX

I was in your shoes once upon a time trying to move IBC totes filled with oak with my older B series. My method was using 3 point forks. 3/4 full was the max. I suspect the only way you're going to move them full with a loader is to bump up to a L series. That's what I wound up doing and...

    b8200 - Newbie's first tractor wont start

I don't think Kubota install them on anything past the B200 series of the 1980's. They probably figured it wasn't worth the trouble or added expense. If the system fails and sticks open, you have one expensive paper weight that can't get out of it's own way. A bigger battery and heavier...

Towing a 14' utility trailer for a hayride?

Braking, obviously. If you’re on pavement and you have to stop quickly, you’re gonna skid. Towing anything only makes the problem worse. Lock the front end in and now you have at least one front tire in the braking mix. I do it every time I haul my firewood trailer. I makes a big difference...

Rck54 15bx gearbox leak after new bearings

There should be little to no movement in the shafts. It sounds like there is enough play that the oil is leaking through a gap between the shaft and seal lip. Did you replace with quality bearings like Koyo, or something else?

    B7510 won’t start

"turns over but won't fire" could be a number of things. Turn the key and "click" usually is a bad battery, cables, or solenoid . You could have air in the fuel lines, decompression knob open, fuel stop lever not functioning. I'm sure there are a few other scenarios that can cause a crank...

    b8200 - Newbie's first tractor wont start

I also agree it sounds like your battery. However, it could also be your neg/pos cables as well as the terminals at both ends. Check to make sure they are all clean and tight.
