What can a 4' bush hog handle?

Must have been a stone, steel isn't what it used to be. New steel today is cheap Chinese junk forged from scrap. My old woods m4 has been used and abused hard, I bought it second or third hand for $200. That hog has been stored outside all it's life in the snow, welded back together, and the...

What can a 4' bush hog handle?

I've wacked down some pretty gnarly stuff with my old woods 4' hog behind the old b7100. This past summer my father in law was clearing an old pasture that has been overgrown with 30 year old briers, most were over 6' tall. The 7100 only has 13 hp on the PTO (I think) so we would generally...

    PTO or engine trash pump?

I've sludge pumped it in a 12 ft diameter shallow well and struggled, I couldn't imagine doing a larger body of water.

    ATV drowning

Same here without the privilege of having a winch. It's even worse when your alone. You learn quickly how to use what's around you. I always find myself saying..... self, you really shouldn't attempt that, it looks a little mushey .... then I do...

    B7100 CAB build

Cab looks awesome! I built a hydraulic chute rotator for my 7100, electricity is not my specialty. It works great and I couldn't imagine trying to turn around and crank by hand trying to throw the snow to a certain area. In my research of building one I have seen a bunch of people build them...

    My BX is too fragile

Sounds like you need a bush hog, it would make your life a hell of a lot easier. Brush cut in reverse taking a width that the tractor can handle will solve your stick/skid plate problem.

    Who owns a plane?

I used to work with a guy long ago that owned and worked on his own plane. He was the type of guy that wouldn't take a few minutes extra to check if a pipe was properly threaded or grooved. He constantly had leaks from under tightening or poor craftsmanship and asked me all the time to go...

That's nothing a couple ratchet straps can't fix.

    B2910 Rear Turf Wheels

Yeah I would do the beet juice but the dealer doesn't mount tires . I have to trailer the tractor to a tire place that only does calcium. So the extra logistics of having to borrow a trailer and added cost of removal of the calcium liquid just doesn't make sense at this point. Just...

    Need bear input.

Any tracks around to confirm it was a bear? I've lived around bears for a long time and have never seen anything like that from a bear. My first thought is a beaver, they are some crafty little suckers.

    Pistols

I got a 4" 29-2, mighty fine wheel gun. The long barrel 50 cals aren't bad at all to shoot, I know a snub nose would be a wrist breaker but I still want one :D. Large cal pistols always put a smile on my face, makes me feel alive. .22's just don't do it for me, kind of boring to me unless I'm...

    B2910 Rear Turf Wheels

Calcium ballast finally got to the rims which are $173 a pop :(, plus remounting and refilling the tires is going to be a kick in the ass. I acually thought the rims would cost more so I guess it could be worse

    help my wheel fell off

Same thing happened to our b2910, it must be a design flaw or bad casting from the get go. The way ours looked, it seemed to have a bunch of stress cracks that water made it's way into weakening it to the point where it broke off just like yours. We've owned it since new and haven't abused it...

2nd set of tires for chains/winter.

I suggest putting the chains on yourself, it's not that hard with a little practice. It will save you time, money, and a sore back from trying to muscle around some loaded tires. Here is a video that should help you out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39btyA6KxAU

    Pistols

I love Vermont, but it's slowly being taken over by NY, CT, MA, and NJ moon bats that vacation there and end up buying. They have hardly any regulations as long as your not a convicted criminal, and at the same time I never hear of any mass shootings or "gun violence." Maybe one crack head...
