    B2789 snowblower problem

I'm not familiar with your blower but I would assume whatever goes onto that keyed shaft would be held in place with a set screw or two. Probably never tightened from the get go

yellow ptfe tape for hydraulic hose

They may have used a white colored permatex or lock tight dope, at least hopefully they did. There are other dopes out there that are white. Go to a auto parts place and pick up some permatex thread sealant without ptfe in it. Don't get it on your skin or clothes you want to keep clean...

    Lest we forget

My grandfather was the same, never talked about it. His famous comment about Japanese cars rusting so fast was.... They rust because they have that Japanese steel, it still has that crap on it from the A bomb so paint won't stick to it. Tough breed, in my eyes the toughest. When I...

    4FT Loftness 3 point snowblower

In excellent condition with no rust and it's always been stored indoors. It has hydraulic chute rotation but I also have the hand crank for it. Perfect for a sub compact bx or b7100. I've ran it behind my b7100 and it throws snow like a champ! I'm located in north western Massachusetts and...

    Kubota anonymous meetings!!!!

Daren, does that have a gas or diesel engine? I have a buddy that bought a toro zero turn and the kohler engine threw a rod right after the warranty was up. I always thought kohler made a top notch motor  I told him he should have bought a kubota :D You can never have enough...

Another engine oil conversation for a B7100

I run AMS oil 10-30 in my 7100 along with their filters. I change it once a year and I could probably get away with changing once every 2 years. oil filter # EA15K20 $14.40 Fuel filter # P502138 $7.05...

    2003 Silverado Duramax injectors

I've had my share of useless mechanics, one of the main reasons why I bought a brand new truck. I have a friend that had a nice off road built jeep Cherokee that had an engine light that wouldn't go away. He spent thousands at a shop with no luck. He finally gave up and brought it to a jeep...

    trailer issue

That's what I would like to get but with the back end solid across. I borrow my buddy's trailer that is a tilt like that but is a HD steel trailer that he uses for small excavators and rollers. They sure are nice, aluminum where I live would be a plus with all the road salt, one I saw locally...

    trailer issue

The only thing I can think of as an easy fix would be to make one solid ramp by welding the two together. At the same time that would suck trying to lift that, but they do make a trailer ramp lift assist. Check out this link...

    ECHO chainsaws

I don't recall the exact model but I have one, 40 cc if I recall correctly. Great little saw, it's light weight, easy to start, and cuts whatever I throw at it.

No new Truck...sticker shock and synthetic oil.

I believe that. Come to think about it..... I remember seeing one like mine at the scrap yard like 4 years ago and it looked new . I think I paid $125 for it so it wasn't that bad. I bought a new toro 4x4 push mower from a local dealer at the tune of $400 . This one better...

No new Truck...sticker shock and synthetic oil.

I was a strong believer in synthetic prolonging engine life until this past summer.... I had Troy built push mower I bought brand new and ran synthetic in it from day one, and changed it twice a year. 6 years later of using it hard mowing tall grass and the rings burnt up. Maybe it was...

Sold G1900s, will I be happy with only a BX?

Filled tires won't hurt the grass, it may sink into the turf a bit if the ground is wet. Run your tires in different spots every cut and it will flatten the lawn out real nice.

No new Truck...sticker shock and synthetic oil.

I'm pretty sure Diesel engine oil and gas engine oil are different so that won't help you on only using one type of oil between the two. It shouldn't make a difference in switching to synthetic in the truck except getting more miles between changes. Mobile 1 makes a high mileage oil, I...

With ballast in the tires you'll be fine on that grade.

    Let it snow!

maybe 3" on the ground here, heavy and wet. Not much sticking to the roads but every town truck was out plowing pavement, gotta get that sunday overtime  burning tax money. The mountains are a mess, power is out for most folks up there. The weather was calling for 10" a 1000 ft...
