    Let it snow!

Not much snow here this year, more in the mountains but still not much. What ever we got in the beginning of the season melted away from warmer weather. It's been bitterly cold but it's supposed to warm up for a few days. It got over freezing today so I was able to wash all that damn salt off...

    New BH77 Lever Problem

It looks like the two long rods are shorter than they should be. If they were an inch or two longer it looks like it would plum your handles right up? You would think the dealer would have test run everything before it was delivered...

Adding 3rd function valve to FEL and BH

Ahh, the only one I'm familiar with is a thumb on a kx 121-3, and from what I remember it wasn't difficult to fold down and use.

Adding 3rd function valve to FEL and BH

Do you have one of those fold down thumbs on your BH? If so I don't understand why the need for it to be hydraulically operated?

    Leaf/Grass Vac

Thanks sheepfarmer I appreciate your effort. Dcat, there is something similar to that for sale near me but it looks like it needs a much larger tractor to run. Plus it's used, looks like it was used on a golf course, and it seems like a lot of moving parts. Last night I came across this...

    Gas Prices

$2.25/gal for regular up here. We get rewards points from the supermarket we go to which equals to about $.30 a gal every two weeks when I fill the truck.

    Leaf/Grass Vac

Thanks, I'm interested in what he uses. The whole concept seems pretty simple to me, especially for what most of these setups consist of. I know I can build something that would work but it seems impossible to find just a impeller/turbine (or whatever you want to call it). It seems every...

    Leaf/Grass Vac

GarciaJoe and SheepFarmer, I have no doubts the cyclone rake is a nice attachment to have and I'm quite intrigued how it's setup, again I thank any suggestions. If it din't have a 8hp gas motor powering it instead of turning it with the tractor's PTO I would buy one for the $1,800 they want...

    snowblower gearbox accelerator

I don't think our going to throw it much farther, 20-25ft is pretty good. Where do you want to throw it in your neighbor's yard :p The blower I had on my b7100 did not like anything but the lowest pto speed

Guess I won't be buying anytime soon

Exactly that, it's all about dumping inventory before the end of the year to make the corporation look good on it's last quarter earnings report. Also it gives more of an incentive for business owners or farmers to buy as a tax deduction if they did well that year. As the old saying goes...

    Leaf/Grass Vac

Ms. BoPeep Sheep, thank you very much for your suggestion. I'll check that out. My pops is getting old on me and he has a tough time turning around and looking back while on the tractor so a trailer wouldn't work out so well for him. I mounted some mirrors on the the tractor for him while he...

    Leaf/Grass Vac

Can anyone tell me the model number or part number for a PTO powered vac/bagger for a b2910 with a RCK60-27B mower deck? Does anyone have one that can give me a run down of it's performance? If anyone has any other suggestions of a aftermarket setup that doesn't use a trailer I'm all ears...

    Tightening Loader Bucket Bolts?

It wouldn't hurt to put new lock nuts on them or lock washers. Like said before they are just keeper bolts holding the pins in place. The will do nothing for vibration, just keep all of your pins well greased.

    B3350 DPF Bypass

Your putting more stress on your machine or the one your buying  by running it at lower RPMs. Equipment is designed to run at high RPM's whether it be a kubota or a CAT pay loader. Mowing at less than required PTO speed is dumb, so is over stressing a hydraulic pump because your not...

    B1620

I came across this last night, it must be a European model. It looks like it has a lot more ground clearance than BX with bigger tires. It looks to be about a 22hp machine, and it seems it can come with or without ROPS. A BX is a nice tractor but I kind of like this one better. The FEL has...

    Help with sand/salt spreader

One way to dry your sand is to place a burn barrel in the middle of the pile and pile the sand all around the barrel. Light a fire and keep it going all day.
