    Workshop Manual Kubota B7001DT

Can anyone tell me what these warning lights mean?

Not my model, but the one on the left looks like a low crankcase oil light, the one on the right I can guarantee you is a low coolant light. There is a reason these lights are red and not a soothing green or yellow. I would verify the oil and coolant levels, asap. KC

    Wheel weights

Thanks guys! It was a matter of being at the right place at the right time, the weight was laying right where I parked the B7001 the other day - looked at it and said "hummmm..." LOL, KC

    Wheel weights

I have 1 50lbs cast iron barbell weight that is the right size for a front wheel weight. I am going to check the local used sports equipment stores to see what sizes the weights are, I am thinking I just need to drill a few holes and presto front wheel weights. Just a thought. KC

    B7001 Year ?

Welcome! I also have a B7001. Mine is a 'mid '77. Most all the stuff I have had to get is for a B7100. The only thing I have seen that is different are: Tires/wheels, PTO cover, a selector system under the seat and the throttle is backwards. (mine has a great 3pt hitch system that appears to...

    ASBug's B7001

Yep, I have an healthy fear of this thing. It is no more dangerous than my chainsaw though. I'll get some photos of this thing over the weekend. Right now I have the shredder all hooked up to shread some more small unsuspecting trees... KC

    ASBug's B7001

I LOVE MY B7001. I have been shreading limbs, and using my new to me screw wood splitter. I can split a large pickup truck load in about 40 minutes, and it beats the heck out of the old hand maul / wedges. So far I have split about 8 truck loads. I still have a tree (oak, 80' trunk, 30" diam.)...

    Damage to my Zen noh

Differential Lock is only for the rear tires. I would think that the 4wd is probably in the front end, but it could be at the trans where the driveshaft yoke is located. Glad the tractor is mobile again. KC

    Damage to my Zen noh

No sealant. Just clean out the rust on the lip and keep it out of the gear box! I just used a large pipe that fit the metal ring on the OD of the seal. Good luck. Make sure you take the old seal with you, there are apparantly 2 and they tried to give me the wrong one. Thanks, KC

    Damage to my Zen noh

Yeah, the front end of the b7001 uses gear oil, NOT hydrolic fluid. I also just replaced the rear PTO seal on mine as well, no biggie. Just get a set of seal pullers, (look like a long flat hook and another has a bent pick on it.) I tapped mine in with a piece of pipe (gotta get over the PTO...

    Tach. quit working

I used to test speedos for internal damage by chucking up a chainsaw blade file backwards into a drill and inserting the square part into the back of the speedo. I think that you have to drill in reverse, but with a cordless drill you could rule out the tach head. KC

    ASBug's B7001

Just come on up this weekend and you can help me shred the last of the debris from the tornados!!! Any way, I think that the unit was purchased from Atlanta environs. I'll look up where she got it and post the contact info. I think that they make a smaller version of this unit, but for the...

    ASBug's B7001

Is that with Shipping to GA-USA? Also, are my rear tires as far out as I can get them? I think I could remove the wheels / hubs and flip the hubs to the flat side of the wheel and remount to get a wider foot print, my only concern is the extra vertical deflection on the axle at this point. Can...
