    Dual clutch operation

Bonaro, I would think if you could use the PTO for an extended period of time would have more effect on freeing the clutch rather then just giving it a chance on a stump. With a tiller you could use a stick to hold the clutch down and work it for an hour or so. Anything beats having to split...

    SSQA mod

With a grapple it's possible to get something to move the lever enough to release the lock pin. The solution can be simple, two holes and a bungee cord.

    Shell rottella hd

And I'll suggest something else. Around here the auto parts stores are NAPA and O Reilly. You can get the same brand, same weight, same color container...... for a lesser price at Walmart. I know one guy who work at the O Reilly's and buys his oil at Walmart.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Nice job! The brush guard made with the punched metal offer much more protection then expanded metal. It does restrict the use of effective lights though.

Said No To An Excavator Purchase...:-(

Guess I've been luck my whole life. I've bought a lot of equipment over the years, and just using some common sense has kept me out of trouble. Dealing with people all the time makes it pretty easy to size up most people. Their words, consistency of thoughts, body language, eye contact...

    Some thought on social media

This is about 11 minutes of what Facebook does to all who use it. Zuckerberg is being questioned under oath by Senator Hawley on collaboration between Facebook, Google and Twitter. He seems to not remember much. The chart shows what they do to each user's information.

Does my tractor have an oil filter? I want to change the engine oil. My manual doesn't mention one.

If it has a drive shaft going to the front ( 4 wheel drive) the oil pan is split and has a drain plug one each side. So, 4x4 has two plugs.

    tractor insurance required

Interesting. I just had a 44 square roof and gutters installed by contractors and I have Farmers Insurance. The adjuster was located in Austin, Tx. and working out of her home. She used a program they subscribe to to get an aerial view of the building. Did all work from her home because of...

Need a Non-Kubota opinion. We have a 2011 Merc. Mariner with the 2.5L engine and 80,000 miles. It starts, runs fine but the challenge is sometimes it is somewhat difficult to put into reverse. My wife thinks it has to do with the brakes because if she pumps the brakes a couple of times it has...

Saw this on internet in Kansas City, $2000. If I didn't already have a tree shear I'd be interested.

    Something just crossed my mind

And be sure it releases when you finished needing it. Your tractor steering wheel becomes only something to hang on to, it will not steer you tractor with the differential locked.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Or drill a small hole at the lowest point of the elbow to let water out.

how do you remove a smile from your bucket?

When you do get it back to straight you can have a 1/4" plate welded vertically in the center of the bucket from the back of the bucket and forward at least 1/3 the depth of the bucket to the bottom as a gusset for strength.

    Losing interest in R14 tires...

My L4240 is an '07 model. The tires are the originals. I am the second owner and the previous owner use it for mowing heavy brush a lot. The tires have some wear and tear but far from no good/can't use. Here's a sample of the pieces I cut out last week grooving them, and there is a lot of...
