This virus affects everyone differently. My brother, his wife, and 12 people in a small company in Colo. all got the virus. One guy took his wife out to eat and had a babysitter come over to watch the two children. A few days later the babysitter was determined to be carrying the virus. By...

    L2250 Free to me.

If all systems are working, when you turn the ignition key counter-clockwise and hold if for 20 seconds or so you should notice a glow coming from a wire inside the chrome cover. That is, as Flip mentioned, an indicator of Glow Plugs working.

    D950 valve clearance

Have a new person come to the forum and you basically tell him if he can't find the information he probably isn't qualified to adjust the valves. Interesting, Skeets has been here for years, longer then you even, and he couldn't find any information on a bucket leveler just a week ago. Not...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Ditch Witch has used a similar chain anchor for it's backhoes since the early '80's. Pretty simple, bring the outriggers up and hook the chain on each side.

How about a bucket level rod?

If you think yours in redneck, I'll one up you. Here a picture of my loader bucket. It has a flat piece of steel all across the top that is parallel to the bottom cutting edge. I just look at that top piece and know where the cutting edge is. Then after a while one gets the "feel" of...

    Question about B series tractors

To each his own. For my uses, I prefer HST. Unloading hay with a 70HP geared transmission is a chore compared to a tractor with HST. Once you have HST and get use to it it's like going back in time to no AC (or black and white TV) to use a geared transmission.

    Dirty Fuel

What is "dirty kerosene"? What's in it that makes it dirty? If it's actually dirt the filters should have done their job. You did drain the dirty fuel and replace with clean? If you have clean fuel and filters and having trouble with it running, it may just air in the fuel system.

    Stock Up

Around here, one can go to the processor and usually buy various cuts of meat. They usually have someone who hasn't gotten a quarter spoken for and the processor buys and sells. They know the farmer and will always tell what farm it came from, if interested.

    Stock Up

We've also stashed some mac and cheese, canned goods, etc. for good measure over the last few months. Plenty of dog, cat, horse, cattle feed, fuel as well. This country will come unglued.... but quicker if our grid system is interrupted.

Yes, I am a complete newbie and I don't know how to fix a flat industrial tire on the rear of a L3400. Help??

Take it to town for $30. He'll check to make sure the wheel is clean, the tire is fine and air it up. Then check the air in the other three tires, they may be low also.

    Won’t start

When you go to add fuel this time of year it will be treated when you buy it. So use the 911 additive then get the engine running, then add treated fuel (from a local truck stop) and you should be fine. Always remember in the Fall of the year to monitor the fuel usage so you can end up with a...
