Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

Friends had emu and ostriches. The emu were near harmless. As i was helping repair a waterer they were all interested in what i was doing, and nipping at my ears. I look around and theres a dozen heads looking over my shoulders. Couldnt put down tools either. Ok,silly question- my dumb dog...

    Mower runs fully choked

I figuring the same, along with water in fuel tank. A stabilizer added to gas during seasonal inactivity will help with this after you get it solved. Storage container

I find them a little expensive, 2750 is cheapest i have seen up here. Thats a 40 foot one. 20 is near the same price. Still want a couple. Roof between them. They make great dry storage. Had to build a ramp to get mower in and out of one, ramp folded up inside doors. Worked very well.

    trailer issue

That is a nice ramp, for sure. One little change-the bar that holds gate up i would prefer to be longer. Its a no bending over thing for me,my one piece ramp has the connection point at a comfortable height. I also welded a small chain to hold the clips when unhooked. Never need to look for them.

    Best way to re-grade roadside?

I could ask my drainage expert buddy, but i know what he will say. Want to keep the trees, dont mess with them. A 4:1 slope is about as steep you want but mowing it will be difficult. So planting cover to stabilize soil is your best option.

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Was laid up a couple times, two weeks or more can get boring. The one time after a fall my shoulder was a mess, hated riding in vehicles as the motion aggrivated the injury. I had just bought a lathe and was curious about the workings of it and started watching videos. Mr.pete222 is quite an...

30HP 3 cylinder rough idle when hot? Marine application.

The 3 cylinder diesels in the grasshopper mowers (22hp)do a similar thing after a few hours of hard work. But the idle would smarten up after a minute.

    Rehomeing a Black Lab

Re: Black Lab Sounds just like my yellow lab. Great pet but needs a lot of attention. I hope you find this feller a good home. Shame on the tenants for neglecting such a handsome dog.
