    cylinder sticks/stops

Perhaps the couplers arent properly seated. Or they arent connected to the corresponding ports. One above the other, not side by each. It has been done before, and hydraulics function, just not correctly.

Fords have been cycling the ac for many years. Most ac systems will run the compressor while on defrost. (Defog)

Moving gravel - should I get a bolt on cutting edge first?

Co-worker ground off a cutting edge clearing snow. Bucket down, only cutting edge touching and front wheels in air. Doesent take long. Seemed intentional. Almost to the point where i was asked why the wheels were always on the ground when i plowed snow.go figure. That being said, it will move a...

anyone here have Asphaltenes in their fuel ?

May be a good idea to drain tank and see whats in your tank. And if you use jerry cans take a close look. Seems to me that same goo forms in gas jugs that sit in the sun with a cup or two of fuel left in them. I had to tear a near new snowmobile down to the chassis one time due to improperly...

    B7610 part under dash ID.

It looks like a relay. Could be a dirty connection, i would check battery terminal and eye connections. And any other connector that could be dirty/corroded.

    12 guage starter!

Imagine having to drain oil and water in the dead of winter, bring it inside to keep it warm. Then pour it all back in and fire up tractor. With the last shell in your hand you sure hope it starts on the last day of work,it was a long walk if it didnt.

    L2250 Poops out When Hot

Wash outside of rad with soapy water and a garden hose, check your belt and if you can, pick a lower gear. I mowed with my little kubota on one of the hottest days so far and have been lucky. Also check air and fuel filters. Would be good to know if fuel tank is clean too.

    Skeets asked about D2's

My buddy's dad had a d2. Used it to drag pads for the dragline to walk on when building roads in the swamps.was a great little machine. Oliver had an oc 2,smaller yet i think. I am still fascinated by the great old heavy equipment. The dragline was started with a pup motor, a small gas engine...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Overheating as in boiling over? Or too hot on gauge? Two completely different things. Need infra red thermometer Mower pto rpm selectable? Perhaps its on the higher rpm setting.

    B2400 Front Differential Case Broke...

Here is how i would approach it,order new stub shaft, make up a dummy plug to align broken parts on axle housing and fit and weld back together. Keep in mind it isnt the better cast housing and it will likely break without some substantial rienforcement. The cast housing will likely use...

    G5200 belts not fitting

Actually measuring an original belt and comparing to replacement belt is the best solution. I find almost every belt cross-over isnt worth the paper its written on. Just went through it with a grasshopper belt. Looked up oe replacement and changed it over to dayco. Should have taken it with when...

    Stump. At a loss

Stump was probably one of the most frustrating things i tried with a hoe. Keep in mind that the curl function is probably the most powerful if used to lever the stump. Im convinced its one of the most abusive things done on a hoe. I park over stump and dig as deep as i can. Point bucket down...

Widening the front stance on the 2650

Buddy's green one, widened rear wheels, maybe 1-1/2" made a very noticeable difference. Run tire pressure as kubota manual states.

Widening the front stance on the 2650

This topic has been discussed frequently. Widening front end does nothing but increase stress on front end and cause premature wear. Widen rear wheel stance, ballast the tires and add a low slung ballast box. No side slope mowing under any circumstance. Saw something about a gentleman that...

    Tiny machines

Skeets, in my line of work, making a tool is something i do often. Someting as easy as bending a wrench or a device to keep brake applied. I have all kinds of hokey tools. Now there are guys out there that build steam engines from scratch and others that cut their own gears. Thats a mad skill.

    Tiny machines

My buddy bought a mini lathe and brought it home in a suitcase. My south bend 9 x48 is about small enough. I use it often. Today to machine A socket. It was too big to fit in a bore,so i took .060 off. Dont be fooled, sockets machine easier than you would think.
