    L3200 or L3400

There's a video out there that shows these new features - you may want to check it out. See below: http://www.deenimplement.com/videolibrary.asp?page=0&videoid=6830&mode=summary&type=all

    Wanting to buy L3200

FrankB - that sounds like it'll be one sweet machine. I'm envious of the backhoe - but maybe "santa" will bring me one this year!:D

Cost of a Backhoe for L3800

BobT - thanks. I should've priced it out there before I wrote the thread. Sometimes I forget they have that option on the website. I appreciate it. It would be nice to have a BH but - at this point - I need to "save" for a nice snow plowing blade first. Many thanks.

    Wanting to buy L3200

The way it was explained to me - by the dealer and others who have owned both trannys - is that if you're going to be doing a lot of FEL work - then the HST trans is the way to go. A LOT less shifting and just more productivity at the end of the day. However - if you plan on using the tractor...

What Width 3 Point Attachments For A L3400

I have an L3800 - which is basically the same as a L3400 and I got a 66" box blade for mine. Mine has the R4 tires on it - which are a little wider than the AG tires. I wanted a BB that was wider than my tire footprint so I could get up close to objects with the BB. Getting a 6 ft for your...

    tractor or diesel ATV

I'll throw my 2 cents in at the last minute here too. I've had a Polaris Sportsman 500HO for many years now and I have to admit that it pulls like a mule and runs like a scared rabbit - but there's only so much you can do with it - trust me. I have to agree - hands down too - buy a tractor!!

Cost of a Backhoe for L3800

Anyone out there know the approximate price for a (new) BH77 Backhoe for an L3800 ?

    Tsunami

I was thinking along those same lines and wondering how my new L3800 might be coming from Japan....but I ended up getting my "toy" from my dealer's existing stock. I'm relieved about that. My heart goes out to the people of Japan. The hardship, financial loss, and pain from lost loved ones...

    BioDiesel ?

I know that there's been numerous other threads on fuels - but just wondering - has anyone used BioDiesel in their Kubota ? Any problems with it ?

    New L 3800

I just got my L3800 HST and had the Cruise Control put on it. For $180 - it was a no brainer when I was spending close to 20K on the whole unit. Oh - By the way - the tractor is being stored right now - but PICS will follow once the weather breaks here in Michigan. (Darn snow!)

Hi Alex. Good Luck in your search. I watched that EA video - looks like a nice attachment.

Flood vs Trapazoid Lights for ROPS

Bulldog - thanks for the words of wisdom. Now that I think of it - I've had experiences with the lenses cracking on prior halogen lights I've had. I now wonder if I should cover or shield them somehow - since they will be subject to snow (for sure) and quite possibly rain. I know that I...

Flood vs Trapazoid Lights for ROPS

I want to add an auxiliary (front facing) light to the ROPS on my L3800. What are your thoughts on whether I should buy a "flood" light vs one that has the "trapazoid" beam configuration ? I'm looking at the 55w H3 Halogen ones from Peterson Manufacturing. What do you guys use ?

    loader capacities

Your loader should have a number on it - for instance: LA525 means it has a capacity of 2.2 x the number on the loader. In this case, it has a capacity of 525 x 2.2 or 1153 lbs.

    Pics

Anything we can do to improve our collections of pics would be good. Most of us are very proud of our Kubotas and want to show them off to the other OTT members. I don't have my tractor yet - but will VERY SOON. I'll be posting pics for everyone to see. I would encourage everyone else grab...

    King Kutter XB vs II

If you're looking at the King Kutter box blades - be sure and also check out their "Professional Box Blades" - they are a bit more money - but better made and stronger. I wanted a 66" for my L3800 and opted for the Professional series one - since it was welded not bolted and had reinforcing...

    2009 L3400 VS Ford 3000

I'm sure you'll love the L3400. I will very soon be buying it's replacement - the L3800. I don't have the unit yet - but EVERYONE says that once you have 4WD - you'll never be without it. I'll be getting the R4 tires too - I feel they are a nice compromise between the aggressive AG tires and...

    Decided on L3800

I got a price on an identical unit - without the backhoe for about $ 20k. L3800, 4wd, HST, Cruise, Drawbar, R4 tires, 524 FEL with quick attach. Speaking of quick attach - I would DEFINITELY consider getting the quick attach mechanism for your bucket. It gives you LOTS of flexibility "down...
