Puncture advice - Front tire L series

Foam seems like a great option. What type of places typically do this? My dealer also handles Case & several other industrial brands. I am surprised they did not suggest it. edit - maybe they do at the main location - I was talking to a "satellite" store

    loader control lever

Funny!! - I thought this also I have the LA525 and have been debating this as well. It comes to hand when resting but other times feels to far towards operator station. Key is finding the right amount for your use and comfort. I am thinking about starting with about 3" off. It hasn't...

Puncture advice - Front tire L series

Thanks for the input. I had been thinking that I could slide it in there. This last time I pumped up to about 40psi & set it back on there pretty tight. I the past, I have used a board and weight (sometimes from driving slightly up on it to manually break the bead loose). One place that...

Puncture advice - Front tire L series

Thanks for the input all - did some additional calling around and not finding any joy. But think a tube is the route to go for now. I am interested in the foam option, but question how that will hold up with serious weight; loader/load etc - any thoughts? I DO have the HF manual changer and...

Puncture advice - Front tire L series

I ended up stupidly running over an old chicken run and got three punctures from nails, one being a small slit or cut about 1/4" long in the front tire (R14 - 27x8.5x15). I tried patching with a plug like I have done successfully over the years on my road vehicles and got 2/3 but still have a...

Adding mirrors so I don't have to turn in my seat!

That is a good idea. I was trying to work out what to do if I wanted them higher and I appreciate it. Right now they are not too obtrusive and show me the left and right fields from the tire contact patch up. I feel you about working to "get it right"!

Adding mirrors so I don't have to turn in my seat!

Agreed on the pics being worth 1000 words - took some now. ;) So, I have the LA525 which does not have ANY factory holes that are close to being useful. I used a cut-down bike innertube to 1) prevent movement or walk & 2) allow me to really crank down on the clips. Because of the welds and...

Adding mirrors so I don't have to turn in my seat!

I bought the mirrors suggested but mounted them lower so the top is the same as the top of the tower. I ended up using the welding mini clips suggested in another thread to avoid drilling. Working great so far and very helpful addition. Thanks all

Really like the dolly fab. Just curious, why do you take off the bucket and do you think it would work w/ bucket on with some mods?

    Broken L3301 Tie-rod

Check out the mods section - I took a hard look at this after getting hung up on a "rock beach ball" One guy there posted a slick homemade bumper "guard" that fits in with the loader. In his case there was a stock grey painted guard that wasn't present. It was on mine but his mod will take...

12% surcharge just announced on Kubota products and up to 20% on implements ...

Anyone check out cars/trucks these days...? My local "auto row" is barren due to lack of supply!

    Loader Level Indicator

Same here - dealer talked me out of it. After some seat time, I agree. Took me a bit but am now really good at eyeing it up. Give it a shot and you can always add it. Trust me there are plenty of other things you may want more...

    Grapple advice

I am still in the shallow end of the pool but just spent 3 straight weeks cleaning up and hauling out rotten deadfall, stumps, and brush from around my property using SGC0660. I estimated approx. 30 trailer loads @ 1,500 to 2,000 lbs each! I LOVE it and can't wait to get started on firewood...

First really bad "oh shoot" moment @ 35hrs

I feel you on the yellowjackets. I have a lot of uneven ground and deadwood. I start clearing an area with a chainsaw to get the scrub & multiflora rose down to even be able to see the holes and rocks. It seems that I am getting more sensitive to them as I get older. It feels like I've been...

First really bad "oh shoot" moment @ 35hrs

Thanks for all the sharing - wasn't feeling like the "sharpest knife in the drawer" but I got out of it with a only a few scrapes. I was glad no one was watching also. Man, that subframe does hang low though...!

First really bad "oh shoot" moment @ 35hrs

Background: I am a new owner @ about 3 months& 35 hrs and getting comfortable doing all sorts of work on my L2501 TLB. Mostly backhoeing, some loader work, and recently gotten around to cleaning & clearing up all sorts of stuff that piled up around my place. I had the grapple on for the last...

    BH77 Leak

So I got my face down there and used a combo of a nice snap-on screwdriver with good steel edge and a new blade on a utility knife and gently probed the ball fitting opening (I can't believe I am typing that). It worked... but I spent more time than I should have - It's that stubborn streak but...

    Interior Bucket Dimensions for Tooth-Bar

Another point of reference; My L2501 with 66"QA bucket was 64.25 (checked it many times) Also, I just called BX and my order from the beginning of June will "likely" go into production the last week of July and ship for receipt somewhere in mid-August.
